    Antidermis Attack Drone

The antidermis portion is linked by a stalk onto the rest of the body, with a shield being placed over it. Controlled by the Makuta, these a retheir machines of war against the toa. (Made from a meddly of the three constraction sets I own; Stormer's Freeze Machine, BA Rocka, Scarox) And sorry for the quality, my camera's pretty awful

    [MOD] CHI Panthar

Hello again all! Haven't done these for a while, but I recently picked up a second 70208 CHI Panthar at a discount the other day, so I thought I'd mod a set that I already thought was good using only the parts you get in 2 copies of 70208 CHI Panthar: Front: LEGO 70208 CHI Panthar MOD (1) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Side: LEGO 70208 CHI Panthar MOD (2) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO 70208 CHI Panthar MOD (3) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Action pose: LEGO 70208 CHI Panthar MOD (4) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Modifications concentrate on the neck, torso and arms really (I thought the legs were fine as they were), including: Ditching the asymmetry (seemingly instead going for the "Edward Scissorhands" vibe with long claws on both hands) Going for 5M bones on the neck instead of the grey 4M ones, thus allowing to put shoulder armour on the shoulders rather than the forearms Filling out the torso a little (including using a little unconventional technique on a gold 4M shell located at the back, where it is held between the torso beam and the torso shell). That's all for now. Feel free to use this mod to inspire your own mods of this set!
  3. Hello again! Here I present a slightly different set of MOC's to you. Seeing the new torso and it's ability to hold a Zamor Sphere inspired me to try and make the perhaps neglected Outlands tribes of Chima in Ultrabuild or CHI form, using the LOTR Palantir piece as their CHI orbs to match their green CHI weapons (this is also why I used a lot of trans-green shells and gave them green eyes). The MOC's feature custom moulded heads so they can have an aesthetic closer to that of the official LEGO Ultrabuilds (comparison image at the bottom of this post). Well, without further ado, here's the MOC's (sorry about the photography, the typical English weather did not want to cooperate when I did the photoshoot and I eventually had to fire the flash on them). Don't worry about the accuracy of the head colours to official LEGO colours, that's not the emphasis of these. The heads might be a bit small on some, I did run out of clay... CHI Braptor. This should really be Sand Blue, but approximately zero constraction parts are made in this colour, so Titanium Metallic and Dark Stone Grey it had to be. I did get a chance to add some very dark blue when I painted the custom head though. Front: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Braptor (custom head mould) 1 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Braptor (custom head mould) 2 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Action pose: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Braptor (custom head mould) 3 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Comparison to minifig: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Braptor (custom head mould) 4 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr CHI Scorm: Probably the easiest of the three in terms of colours and structure. I found the new design shells to replicate his minifig armour quite well. Front: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Scorm (custom head mould) 1 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Scorm (custom head mould) 2 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Action pose: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Scorm (custom head mould) 3 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Comparison to minifig: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Scorm (custom head mould) 4 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr CHI Spinlyn: The design of this was partly inspired by the Hero Factory Queen Beast, but it's not a direct copy. I'm quite happy with how this one turned out, but I'm not sure about the bulbous abdomen. If anyone has any better suggestions (other than the two half domes I'm currently using) that will make a large bulbous abdomen, please do say. Front: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Spinlyn (custom head mould) 1 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Spinlyn (custom head mould) 2 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Action pose: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Spinlyn (custom head mould) 3 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Comparison to minifig: LEGO Chima MOC - CHI Spinlyn (custom head mould) 4 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr And finally, a comparison of the custom heads to a random official head. The random official head turned out to be that of CHI Panthar: LEGO Chima MOC's - Outlands Tribes Constraction (custom head moulds) and comparison to 70208 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr That's it for now. Hope you like them and appreciate my work. Next on my list is hopefully an ultrabuild version of Rogon.
  4. For some reason I fancied having a crack at creating a Jumper that is more to scale with the 2010-2013 HF sets. So, I used this image for a rough reference as to what bits to use, especially for the legs: And came up with this: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Jumper (to scale with Hero constraction sets) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr As you can see, most of the pieces I had to use weren't available in any of the colours used for the jumper base colours, so it had to be all black. In fact, I don't think I've seen many attempts at these, so I thought I'd try one instead. I could have used the short shoulder torso piece, but I'm very limited in black shells at the moment and what shells you do see was all I had to hand, it would have looked very unarmoured with the other torso. The head should also be the other way around in theory but the only printed version I can get at the moment is in orange, and even then the one that comes with Queen Beast would have looked very odd here anyway. I'll probably end up modding it further anyway. Well, that's all, it's fairly simple, but I hope you enjoyed looking at this MOC!

    [MOC] Stringer Sonic Machine

It's been a very productive day for me today, I've now got a small mecha (my first one actually) to show. I decided that my custom Stringer minifig needed a mech of his own (saw him getting jealous of my custom painted Nex piloting my revamped Evo Walker Turret thing ), so I created this small mech which I call "Stringer Sonic Machine", in keeping with Stringer's typical soundwave and sonic theme. It's equipped with a sonic blaster, a sound blade and an enormous speaker on the back, to which Stringer can pump out the tunes of that one genre of music known to bring down the Beasts... teen pop (I'm joking by the way). Here's some pics (I realise I forgot to change the dark bley lever to a black one, please ignore that): Front: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Stringer Sonic Machine (1) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Stringer Sonic Machine (2) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Pose: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Stringer Sonic Machine (3) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr I couldn't quite work out if this little mech would be better with or without a windscreen: what do you think? LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Stringer Sonic Machine (4) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr One thing that irritates me is that I was forced to use orange in this MOC... I wish those seats were blue at the very least to match Stringer's colour scheme But otherwise, that's all for now. Hope you enjoyed looking at this MOC!

    [MOC] Mighty Steed

The other day I got the inspiration to try and build a horse out of constraction parts, so my numerous constraction figures actually had something to ride (other than motorbikes that were slightly too small or too large for them). What resulted is some vaguely horse-like alien creature which does fulfill it's purpose. As yet I haven't named the creation, so for now I'm calling it simply "Mighty Steed". I've decided it's a species of alien horse in my universe, which has 2 red and 2 green eyes, extremely thick lip hairs, long skinny legs and a typically black and dark red colouring. Their owners often equip them with silver or gold armour, especially around the front. Here's some shots of Mighty Steed without a mount or rider: And some with a rider. The rider is an old MOC containing custom head and armour parts of mine which I frequently use as my avatar (if you remember Gigacranius, I used the same figure as a comparison shot), but it's not the focus of this MOC. That's all for now, please enjoy!

    [MOD] CHI Mungus

It's been a while since I posted my last set MOD, but I got round to photographing another of my MODded sets - CHI Mungus! It's actually a MOD of the Mungus-Fangar (Mungus dominant) combiner, but with many extra MOD's. Hopefully you'll have the time to look at it and appreciate it, what with the news that Bionicle is back and all that Anyway, without further ado, here's some pics: Front (I should point out the exposed red axle is for when you want to pose the figure with the weapon in both hands - maybe I should have used a black one): LEGO Chima - CHI Mungus MOD (1) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Side: LEGO Chima - CHI Mungus MOD (2) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO Chima - CHI Mungus MOD (3) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Pose 1: LEGO Chima - CHI Mungus MOD (4) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Pose 2: LEGO Chima - CHI Mungus MOD (5) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr That's all right now. Hopefully I'll be back soon with some more set MODs for you, but for now, hope you enjoyed this one Extra pics available on request.

    [MOC] Nex Walker Turret

I did hint at this MOC in my Stringer Sonic Machine thread, so I thought it'd be only fair to show my rendition of Nex's machine here too It's actually an extremely heavily modified Evo Walker (a slightly terrible set only really bought for completeness and the jumpers imo) which wasn't really a walker. This MOC is essentially a heavy artillery on legs, with a large plasma cannon and a couple of plasma guns. It's cockpit can move freely, which means Nex can move the cockpit around for an unrivalled view of his surroundings, and the guns all rotate too. The colour scheme is pretty much classic Nex: green, orange and white. It might have some very odd styling and shaping, but there's a reason for it... Here's some pics: Front: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Nex Walker Turret (1) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Back: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Nex Walker Turret (2) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Pose: LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Nex Walker Turret (3) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr The Walker Turret also has another function: the exposed ball cups on the arms allow Nex's machine to attach to Evo's XL machine to create one extra-powerful XL machine (note my Evo XL machine is also modded, partly becuase I had to borrow the XT4 torsos for something else and never bothered to return them, and partly to allow these two machines to attach. Notice I mod practically every set I buy?): LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Nex Walker Turret and MODded Evo XL Machine (1) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO Hero Factory MOC - Nex Walker Turret and MODded Evo XL Machine (2) by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr I would have preferred to use 2 trans-black windscreens, but unfortunately they're rare in my country on BrickLink so far and I didn't have enough spare... so 2 trans-blue windscreens it had to be! That's all for now. Hope you liked it!

    MOC: CarBorg: Ariel Dartmann

LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 1 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Hello there! This is my second constraction CarBorg which I wish to present to you, for those of you who missed my first, you may see it here. This one has a face of a more obscure car than my first one, this one being based on the British sports/track car the Ariel Atom. Here's the backstory: The CarBorgs are a kingdom of intelligent biomechanical cyborgs whose faces resemble that of the front ends of various human creations commonly known as cars, and can take almost any form imaginable, though they most typically take humanoid forms. These creatures are grouped according to the make of car their faces derive from. The British CarBorgs show some of the most diverse ranges of these creatures on the planet, and perhaps one of the most bizarre of all the makes from the island are the Arielites, part-crocodile, part-human, part-scaffolding beings which are tall, skinny and have partly exposed torso skeletons to make them far lighter than regular CarBorgs, and this makes them lightning fast. One of the more well-known individuals is Ariel Dartmann, an Arielite athlete by day, a maniacal prankster by night. If something's amused him, everyone within 5 miles of him will know about it with his distinct hysterical laugh. LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 2 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 3 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 4 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 5 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 6 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Ariel Dartmann 7 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr As you can see, the model is extremely poseable, and his build means that he can even shrug his shoulders. The face is basically a Cragger head assembly with the red eye print removed. I was going for the skinny/lanky, almost skeletal look here, and I actually am quite happy with it. Well, that's it for now. I hope you liked this MOC

    [MOC] CarBorg: Vladimir Veyron

LEGO CarBorgs - Vladimir Veyron 4 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr Hello there, may I introduce you to my latest Action Figure MOC, who is a self-made character which I have taken a particular liking to, named Vladimir Veyron. You might barely recognise him as my usual forum avatar. As with many of my MOC's, he comes with a backstory: The CarBorgs are a kingdom of intelligent biomechanical cyborgs whose faces resemble that of the front ends of various human creations commonly known as cars, and can take almost any form imaginable, though they most typically take humanoid forms. These creatures are grouped according to the make of car their faces derive from. Among the most noble, ancient and prestigious of all the CarBorg "makes" are the Ettoréans (those with faces based on Bugattis), often nicknamed "BugBorgs". Within this grouping includes the enormously powerful "Veyronians", a very small race of noble artisans and empire-conquering warriors. The Veyronian race is led by Vladimir Veyron, a stout one-eyed artisan-turned-warrior with enormous chest muscles and heavy battle scarring, and is proficient with all manner of weapons from axes to enormous gatling guns. LEGO CarBorgs - Vladimir Veyron 1 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Vladimir Veyron 2 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr LEGO CarBorgs - Vladimir Veyron 3 by TheOneVeyronian, on Flickr I've had several versions of this figure, though this my first version that is almost entirely purist (bar the decal I used for his mouth), all previous versions had a custom moulded head and armour. Well, that's it for now, I hope you liked it
  11. HI everyone I just wanted to post a thread linking to my Deviantart Gallery and Flickr Photostream Just to give a general access to my MOCs. If you'd like to discuss any specific MOC here in this thread though I think that's okay(its okay with me if its okay with the moderators). I didn't want to just start throwing up random MOCs all of a sudden since I'm new here and I've got so many already. If you've got a flickr or DA account I certainly don't mind comments there, but a thread with some discussion here would be nice to. Still trying to get the hang of posting here. I guess a question might be helpful to get a discussion going huh? (hey what do you know a question ) My question is, if you know of me already what's your favorite MOC of mine, if you've never seen any MOCs from me, does any particular one stand out to you the most? Thanks for any faves, watches, and comments in advance.

    B/A: Koboldon

My entry for the Before & After Brain Infection contest. For full disclosure, I built both models with the help of my twin brother Lyichir. Click through any of the images to see them on my Flickr photostream. In their natural form, Koboldon are tunnel goblins with a diet of metallic ore, which they mine for with their powerful, shovel-like claws. They are reclusive, but generally not aggressive. But once the evil brains landed on their home planet, many were mutated into grotesque, hulking fiends that burrow beneath cities, reducing buildings and infrastructure to rubble. Can any hero stand up to the might of Koboldon's radioactive power claw? More pictures: About the MOC: Lyichir and I came up with the foot design for a much larger model a few months ago, and we decided a bestial foot design like this would be perfect for this contest. The head was designed in an effort to create a brain-infected head that looked as detailed and fearsome as any of the official 2013 villain faceplates, but which had a unique character of its own. Lyichir had the idea to use Transparent Bright Green (the same color as the brain) to highlight areas most heavily affected by the mutation, and I designed the power claw with that in mind. Comments, questions, and criticism are welcome! Hope you enjoy this MOC!
