I saw this llittle ship in the Lego store and just had to try to pirate-ify it. Will probably replace the plastic sail asap with that cloth sail from that old raft set. The aim of all my MODs is - to make the set in line with pirate sets of the original pirate lines - to dejuniorise them if I can - to try to expand the Pirates universe (new factions, new ideas) (bigger on Flickr - http://www.flickr.co...in/photostream/ ) Wouldn't a whole ghost ship, ghost port etc line be great ???? Please criticize and comment :)

Here is my newest ship. It is a Spanish Sloop, the San Lucas. It is a 2 gun ship used mostly used for cargo hauling. [pid][/pid] 142A This is my first Moc post on Eurobricks, but it is certainly not my first Moc . This is my newest ship. I built it after watching POTC At World's End, having been inspired by the Junk in the movie. I also wanted to have a try at custom hulls, something I have not tried before. They didn't come out too bad, did they? I'm sorry for the bad quality, this was taken on an IPod. Here is the full ship, with crew on it. Without Crew Gundeck/Midsection Stern area/poop deck Instead of using a steering Wheel, like most ships, I thought a tiller would add more of an Asian and exotic feel, so here is my tiller. It doesn't actually move the rudder, though Bow/Front Area Head on shot. Anchor. Its not the best designed, and probably not very realistic . I could probably make it better, but I like how it comes over the front. Stern shot and Rudder. Here is a little bit of how I did the hulls. Not really sure how much you can get out of it, though . Front small sail. Back Large Sail. Finally, The Crew. Captain First Mate Pirate Pirate Pirate Pirate Pirate and Ship's Monkey And, that's it! I hope you liked it. My remake of the 6890 Cosmic Cruiser set from 1982. Thanks ~ Lego Knight ~ for the background! The Cosmic cruiser, although not the fastest starship in the federation, is a useful exploration and transportation vehicle. Its capable of low-altitude travel, and can deploy the pilot's seat as an X-5 Land speeder. As the Cosmic Cruiser is not primarily built for combat, it's equipped with only two front-tipped forward facing torpedo launchers. (I still haven't decided if the gadgets on the wing tips are weapons or antennas...) The federation X-5 land speeder is great for space rides, enjoying the intergalactic scenery, or traveling throughout a star outpost. The federation discovered that if the back engine was switched off, they gave off a very low heat signature. Because of this, they made their first combat appearance on the raid on Spyrius IV deploying soldiers into enemy bases. They were also good for a fast getaway. Their biggest flaw, however, is that they can only fly for a limited time before needing to be charged while attached to the Cosmic Cruiser Federation Starship. Hope you like it! My flickr!
