  1. No, you can lift the bed with your hands by grabbing the yellow beam or black twelve tooth gear. . I don't no if adding an actuator will add much to the fun. Thanks for all the nice comments!
  2. My participation in this great [MINI] contest, i'm building a mini 8109. [updated] It has the following functions: - Steering (hog) - Sliding trailer-bed - Lifting both rear axles to ease the loading of vehicles - winch on the trailer-bed. - adjustable seats Part-count: - 195 I'm happy with the result. There is still time left for adjustments, but I'm pleased with the overall result. More pictures: Here is an early LDD model. I started this after i made some ideas with real lego's to see if the partcount is anywhere near 200 parts. So far the score is 174 bricks.
  3. Thank you both!
  4. So, I'm almost done with my creation. I updated the startpost with new pictures and a description. Hope you like :-)
  5. Yes that's what i meant owie. Do you have any flexible parts to make the cockpit shape a little curvier? Can save you some parts as well.
  6. Yeah, that's why i made the topic now, didnt want that to happen... I actually had some other ideas, but the fun in this contest is that you need to think REALLY SIMPLE. I'm building stuff in my mind that is way to complicated, but this is coming along nice. I even have parts left atm...
  7. Turn prop with finger. Maybe you can make the wingtips less part intensive, you are using a lot of parts to make the shape at the front. Maybe use a halfbeam curve 3x5 to create the wingtip shape.
  8. Nope, see startpost...
  9. Amazing video review Sariel. Nice job on all the elements you put into this video. On the set itself, i think it looks amazing, and seeing it drive around makes me want it even more. Although this set has some flaws, for me it's a set i really want to have. I compare it to 9398, which i didn't buy because of the looks, and the lack of functionality. I think this set has more of both.
  10. Very very nice model. Must be a real pain to build, to make all the right shapes and being able to transform. Looks great as a truck and as robot.

    Anybody here attending Brickfair?

What a bunch of butthurt's. Really sounds like they need to like you, otherwise you're going to do it wrong, no matter what. And since when can someone else dictate how you should build your moc? Thanks for the answer. Something that should be really fun, becomes awful. I see why you are not going anymore.
  12. Why is there no jaw-dropping smiley. It needs to be like a meter tall. Fantastic job. Would not know where to start when building such a MOC.
  13. Cool. Great idea for a contest. Let's start brainstorming...

    Anybody here attending Brickfair?

    Please explain?
  15. What functions are you planning to add? Looks promising so far. Is it going to be a studless 8862?
  16. Very difficult to work in... Welp, it doesn't show, because it looks amazingly well. Can you already make a living out of commission work?
  17. Great looking TOG! Naval tactics on tracks
  18. Never saw this one, but this is amazing engineering. I really like these kinds of models, mechanical, just one motor. Lots of stuff going on. And looks great too! Should have much more supporters on lego ideas. https://ideas.lego.com/projects/22356
  19. This. Although i like the tank/tracked variant, it's already been done. Good luck.
  20. So. Much. Amazing. Car. MOCs. Stahp building such awesomeness, because i can't decide what i want to build anymore... Note to self: get some of those old style panels, they are used a lot.
  21. Nice, that's a great price for a 42025. Will keep an eye on it. Thanks for the tip.
  22. Why are you guys building so much awesome car mocs! Can't decide what to build first. Seriously, great looking car. Looks realistic and still not too overdone. Needs instructions ofcourse...

    E-100 1/20th (RC)

Yes, i figured this would call out some WoT players... So, here i am aswell. ;-) Nice tank. Would really like to build a tank in the future, be it a moc from others or trying something myself. There are already some nice tanks outthere, this one can join the line-up :-)
  24. Nice crane. Did you do any adjustments after the crashes? seems a pain to rebuild... How does the synchronise mechanism work for the claw?
  25. Wow, awesome creation! Looks good on both the inside and the outside. Nice to see the gearbox all the way in the back. Just love the looks of the chassis. Great!
