Keep in mind the Death Star playset was of sound design while the UCS ISD is regarded as one of the most flimsy Star Wars sets. I'd expect a redesign utilizing modern methods. -

Nonsense. It's that kind of attitude that makes TLG think it's okay to do that. This Luke figure looks more like a knockoff design than something of high quality I expect from TLG. The figure doesn't have to be godly but I do expect an accurate figure especially given the prices of these sets. -

Sienar Fleet Systems played no role in their development besides the original cockpit design. Furthermore, Imperials loyal to central command didn't use them. They were used by a rogue warlord faction. -
I'm sorry but how exactly did you get into the invite-only gameplay? It's limited to PC and right now pretty much only people who played the last alpha are in.

Please stop with the passive aggressive comments that are actually more annoying than the UCS MF nonsense. Most of you are full grown adults. I don't know where people found the "price" for the MF but I'm certainly glad I picked it up the first time around.

Thanks, but you're not a mod. That's also subjective. The intended user was correct in that it was SW related and the main point was about the Scarif Captain. As you can tell I'm an Imperial fan and that's a common insult to describe Rebels and Pirates. Move along now. lol you're the only one to get it. Do we have a release date for this figure?

Was more so joking but I knew after posting that someone would get butthurt. Although I'm not sure how because who could honestly take someone using peasant in the 21st century as a viable insult. Problem?

Speak for yourself peasant. I always welcome more troop types to add to the variety of the respective combat units. The Rebels figure was a joke though. Also the new trooper is the Captain variant. Not generic in any way.

I get my info from Disney and Hidalgo ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Regarding the Falcon...Stash's informants are reliable and thus he's just as reliable. If he says it's coming..trust him.

It most certainly isn't by Disney's definition of what constitutes as canon after the wipe. Go ahead and be a brick wall, it's not going to suddenly make it "Legends".

The Republic Fighter tank made an appearance in Clone Wars/ROTS novel and was developed for AoTC so no, it's not Legends.

What are you complaining about? Where were you when they rehashed X-wings or A-wings? At least this TIE looks fairly unique. Furthermore, each rendition of the TIE is unique in it's own way. Whether that be life-support systems, shielding, co-pilots, immense speed, or just the devastating firepower we're used to.

Galactic Marines* We need more Resistance and Rebel uniforms. It's ridiculous getting the same torsos that are too damn unique for army building.

Agreed. I don't really hold too much weight with what comes out now but I still love the franchise and of course I'll still keep up with it. We'll see based on TLJ. And after all...your profile picture is an EU character :)

I'd like to agree but they've already shown that they will not based on the current lore. The Old EU saw the Empire smarten up and mellow out a bit without a megalomaniac sith in charge. The new canon ruins any semblance of that with the utterly barbaric First Order.

I grew up on the old EU and as I look at the newer canon it just all seems so...small. Everything is so one-sided and black and white. The universe feels so small and underwhelming. At least the old books managed to capture the scope of what I believe the scope of the universe should be. Honestly I already knew what Pablo said but I guess other people are still too new to the lore.

I mean the man himself clarified that statement specifically because people thought the visual dictionary's explanation was too vague. They're akin to Navy SEAL's. As stated...most of the additions were internal and focused on combat. They're elite troopers but not zombies and people who are new and didn't read the original Death Trooper book don't understand the reference and just think they're zombies. The black wing project was a failure so no, they aren't zombies. I mean you won't find a Phase 2 Wolffe or anything of that ilk from TLG. If you can get TLG for what you want then by all means do so. But if what you want is not made currently then the chances are slim that they will make it.

Commander Wolffe was featured in the Republic Frigate set along with a Wolffepack trooper. Third party sites like CAC sell a lot of clone trooper types with high quality printing so there's that.

Sheesh man have some faith in your boys! Regarding the summer wave have all sets been confirmed? As in there are no more sets coming out this summer besides what we already know of.

You're both wrong I'm afraid. The whole "Death Troopers" thing is a reference to an EU novel of the same name that featured zombie troopers on board an ISD in deep space. It was just a reference. The troopers themselves are alive and receive slight augmentations to enhance combat performance. It's all internal by the way. You should've watched the SW celebration live stream because Pablo Hidalgo spoke briefly about them for clarification.
