    Ballabreek 2013

Nice addition to Ballabreek, Greg3. I like the interior, you have made/found some nice stuff to sell in the shop. I don't recall, I have ever seen the sticker. Which idea book is it from? As always looking forward to further updates /Laka

    The Greenville layout - WIP

They are all really great MOCs, CRH. Not least the station which is really impressive. And a tram is always welcome I look forward to see the development of your layout. Especially in a room like that - it can make us all green of envy

Town layout - Your feedback welcome!

Finally an update I think, it really gives an impression of a dense city. My only comment would be that you should use the railroad crossing to make a road from the city into the countryside and seaside, instead of letting it go to the end of world

    Basement Lego City Update 4

Nice video, slow and steady. - I like the city, but I think you need a road to the big station to the right. And now you brickbuild the roads, will it be possible to integrate the track into the surface?

    MOC - Multi-Storey City Building

After building a department store myself, I am very curious to see how you interpret that kind of building. I got some inspiration from other EB'ers' department stores. - And when you have finished yours, I can copy the great interior

    MOC - Multi-Storey City Building

Hmm... It's beginning to look really convincing as a big glass and steel office building. If it's going to be even taller, I think the building should not be a box, but with different "levels" either horizontally or vertically. ... If you understand As a classic style builder, too, I don't mind the lack of stairs, lifts, toilets or walls behind the building

    MOC - Multi-Storey City Building

Really good, LT. I love the copy machine. And nice to see you make office interior and other stuff apart from hardware stores I am excited to see the gym. And also to see the next level on the building. How tall can a classic style building become and still look fine?
  8. This is really brilliant, Greg3. I admire your small historic-inspired MOCs

Town layout - Your feedback welcome!

Maybe you could simply follow the seasons and go for late spring/summer now - and save those beautiful colours for later. Unfortunately it will also leave the Japanese cherry hidden away from us

These fall-coloured trees are amazing. I definately want that, too. Now, you just have to decide which season, you want in your layout

    MOC Pearl Oriental Tower

Tuc tuc? Indeed, it is really impressive Timothy. At first, I thought, it was in the same size as the architecture sets (like the Space Needle), but then I saw the minifigs. Really impressive and interesting techniques.

    Review: 40054 Summer Scene

... or build a sand castle and play with water. A "sleeveless" all-plain blue, white or green shirt would do the trick for me. Just something that fits more with sun-bathing, sand castles and water. This minifigure seems more ready for a drink in the bar, looking for hot minifigure-chicks. But it's not included in the set

    Review: 40054 Summer Scene

One of my first thoughts were also, why on Earth is he wearing so much clothes? After all, LEGO has produced several sets with people at the beach with less clothes on, like Paradisa. - The chair is also not the best, as ReslpsaLoquitur points out. But nice with all the "sand" and the few accessoires. Not a need to have, but a nice to have. Especially if one wants to make a beach in the layout.

    MOC - Multi-Storey City Building

It's always great to see your MOCs, LT. They fit in size with my buildings, so they are quite inspirational. Especially your always detailed interior. So far I have just built more classic styled buildings, with shops on the ground floor and flats upstairs. Just the bank is in a more modern architecture. But it should be followed by neighbouring buildings. What you have built here would fit with the bank. Keep up the good work. /Laka

    Ballabreek 2013

Great to see Ballabreek's business life is blooming again with entrepeneurs opening new shops. With the new shops, the village can better attract tourists. Hopefully the tramstop soon will be a busy place with Santa Claus... eh, people coming to town Soon there might be a need for a bed & breakfast. EDIT: Btw, I really like the antique diving suit and the air pump. It's really brilliant

    MOC: Sea transport

Nice ideas, my favourite here is the tugboat. I think it's a brilliant way to use the rubber boat base. I think it's a little too big, so an alternative use is fine.

    MOC City panorama

Hi Kivi! I found your city panorama via your thread about the tramway in the the train forum. I was really impressed at the time - and I still am. It is really nice, all the small details. I like the shelter at the tram stop, especially how you made the seats.

Good changes. What about some allotment gardens along the track? It would also fill out the green "vacuum"

    Ballabreek 2013

The "final" result is really nice. Too bad, you don't have more space. But if you have got some small baseplates (e.g. 16x8), you could put some green areas behind the chapel and the medial centre (St. Vincent Medical Centre? ). Eventually, you could also put a small building next to M's Gems. Maybe a little café or so? - And it's really joyful to read the (hi-)story of the different parts of Ballabreek. It really comes to life this way. Edit: And it's inspirational for us people without modulars (... yet).

    MOC Street Rail

Really some nice trams, Kivi. I like the simple design, it really does the job. To me the designs reminds me of the 80s. The door design is briliant. I like, you turned the studs upside down Before the 8404 Public Transport Station came out, I planned to make a tram/light rail myself. I never got that far, but I planned using the same windshields as you have done. Now I can get an idea how it would have looked. I really like that you made a tram, it's not too often it's seen in the streets of LEGO cities. By the way, you should public the pictures of the street scene in which the tram is running.

May I introduce me and my Town?

I guess there are plenty of buildings, I don't like You have some really good points here that imperfection adds reality - not least compared to most other LEGO layouts (as the modulars). - I noticed that almost every building has got flaws when I looked through the pictures. And it was when I noticed the colours etc.

May I introduce me and my Town?

Welcome to Eurobricks, Cran. It is really an impressive layout, you have got. I also love the 80s/90s classic style town, so it is always nice to see layouts of this. It is interesting to look through your city of MOCs with some recognizable classic models in between. That being said, I find some of the buildings rather... heavy or confusing to look at. I think it is because some buildings have got many colours, some of those not fitting together, like this house. Yellow, red, pink and light gray. It makes the buildings look less harmonic, I think. Or heavy when too many dark colours are used. On the other hand, I really love the different heights of the layout, it gives the city a whole new dimension(!) which is seldomly seen at other layouts. And the Serengeti animals are fabulous, I can't wait to see the zoo. And the airport. I really look forward to see more of your MOCs.

Town layout - Your feedback welcome!

A good start for a new layout, SwissBrick. The narrow table gives you some challenges, but it might not be bad. - My primary suggest would be to move the railway station to the city centre together with a bus stop to have a public transport terminal. The other bus stop I would put in the suburbs, so the citizens can take the bus between centre and suburb. In the suburbs, you should swap the 4956 House (white) with the 4954 Town House (tan), so the latter will be neighbour to the haunted house. I think the two fit better in size and architecture. It would seem like a natural expansion of the city in past, while the white house fits the smaller and more modern looking buildings better.

    [MOC] Small street scene

Welcome to Eurobricks, Hobbythom. It's a nice little street scene you have built. Even though it seems that everybody else here builds modulars there are quite a few building more classic style and size buildings. I think it's a good start, you have got there. Shop, restaurant and a flat already. And many details. My favourite is the use of Pirates wall elements in the pizzeria. I think it give a nice effect, resembling the interior of many restaurants. I had never thought of doing that. I really look forward to see the expansion of this street. I'm pretty sure, you'll have more things to show.

    My Lego City Layout Project

Hi danielnzlego and welcome to Eurobricks! It's a good start, you have got for your city. Plenty of space I agree with Legocrazy81 that the middle section needs some more structure, otherwise it's a great city. Maybe some of the buildings, e.g. the bank and the building from Spider Man, should be arranged around a town square. And as LT says - leave space for the town square set Regarding the hospital, you can replace the green base plate underneath with a cross road plate. In that way, you will get a driveway to the hospital and the city will look less green. I look forward to further updates
