[MOC] Programmable "Funky Drummer"

Hey!

A few weeks ago i saw Sariels programmable drummer and I really liked the idea. So I started to build my own version and also added the Makey Makey again for sending MIDI signals to my pc triggering the drum sounds. So take a look and tell me what you think!

Yes i think it would be possible. Right now the track for the code is pretty short (16 elemts) so i can code only one 4/4 bar, which repeats continously. But I'm planning to build a bigger version with 64 track elements what makes it possible to play 4 bars ;)

There was a bunch of old lego sets, and a few ex-promotional dioramas... including this mechanical Technic Guitar player

Always been meaning to post it up, but always forgot!

Not 100% Lego, as it has some metal connecting rods - presumably so he could play for many years, without worry of plastic wearing out.

Press the button, and he plays for a little bit!

The place was amazing, but not everything was in spotless condition - large sheds/hangars had a lot of dust over items.. even those in glass display cases
