Heck, I will be willing to go with you guys. So, it looks like it could be: Cutcobra, Flare, Asphalt, Lind Wisperer, and Samuraiturtle. If you are willing to take half of us.

I wouldn't choose to be in a party with anyone half or less of my level, sorry, and no offense intended. Quest #110 was not exactly a good choice in including me, sorry KingoftheZempk

Hey no worries. This was my first quest to host and a major learning experience for me. I'm actually kind of glad the quest has been rocky and balancing has been difficult, so I know what to do if I host a quest again in the future and know what pitfalls to avoid.

Uh, not to be rude, but...you do realize that Heckz is at 23 2/4 while you're at 43.4, right? Granted, it's not exactly half, but 54.14746543778802 is pretty close...

If Heckz is interested in letting me join his group, then I'd like to, else-wise, then I guess I'll have to form my own.

I do realize that, I also realize that Heckz is relatively a powerful player when the fact is considered that he is only level 23.

You're forgetting that the QM of the Fields gets to make the final decision as to who comes along. Yes, we usually take player preference into consideration, but it's ultimately up to us to decide who we want to take in.

Is it still alright if I form my own group?

Yes, I know, but a well rounded group will have much more of a chance then an uneven group

I wouldn't mind making another run in the fields to go the Decamon Tool and Vet Badge, but after the Halloween quests.

"Guys, most people aren't going to work for free. Especially if they're sellswords and adventurers. Your'e going to need some way to uhh, persuade them to crew the ship."

Try offering them something on a commission basis - the better they do, the better you'll pay them. Also, as to the size of the commission, make them an intentionally low offer and let them argue you up to a higher one.

His deathly white clothes cling to his body, a sickly parasite coiling up his spine and wrapping around his shoulders. His eyes blaze with azure malice, the Harvester he was holding crackling with electric residue.

I'm obviously completely wrecking the mood, but I can't help wondering what kind of stats you get from a parasite, assuming that it only takes up the neck slot...or would it spill over into back-wear as well?

Or we could offer to pay them after the Hydra is dead, and hope it kills them all once the Hydra is weakened.

+50 Power, +900 HP, +10 SP.

Sorry, not everything in this quest is going to be converted into loot.

This job class would be a perfect main prize for the Decamon Tournament event I was planning to host in the future.

Just curious how you'd be planning on running this, since relatively no one has any Decamon cards yet? Unless this event is in the distant future...

This does sound like fun, but yeah, where would we get decks?

It's probably going to go like this:

Party 1 is accepted into the Fields, comprised either of a single player-formed party, or of hand-picked members selected by QMs from applicants. Party 2 waits.

Party 1 leaves the Fields with a Decamonizer. The QMs reset opponents while Party 2 still waits.

Party 1 either signs up for a quest together, or splits apart to go on their own quests(The second would probably be best on a personal basis). Party 2 enters the fields.

Party 1 finishes their quest(s) while Party 2 leaves the fields.

Party 1 either waits in the hall, or starts a new quest. Party 2 starts their quest.

Party 1 either finishes their quest or continues waiting in the hall. Party 2 finishes this quest.

There are now up to twelve people with Decamon cards, not counting the couple of people already owning them.

Advantage: Party 1.

You know what's going to happen, because for some reason I don't think that a party rotation is gonna happen?

Some peeps, go to the fields.

Some peeps leaves the fields as one/all of them wants to go on a quest. They make a decision on whether a Decamonizer is worth it or to keep their GP.

Rinse and repeat, people who go to the fields again may use the decamonizer, but maybe not.

True, but either way, the first party to enter the Fields has the best chance to make a good opportunity out of the Decamonizer.

You're really over thinking this, dude. Try to relax and enjoy the game.

I am actually playing on a little bit of a trope that the game has developed. People keep going deeper and deeper into Olegia, so I thought I'd push it. I think it's a good story for Heroica to explore.

Starter decks would be available for purchase during the event, of course.

If Throlar had approached the Decamon Stall in the Emerald Palace Casino, he would have gotten a chance to buy cards, as well.

I'm assuming that starter decks will consist of randomized card selections? And are players are allowed to trade/sell cards with each other outside of combat?
