Batbrick Posted November 12, 2009 Hey everyone, I've posted several topics of Batman figs that I can't be bothered checking up upon, so I'm just going to post all of my Batman figs including updated ones and modded ones. And the prostitute. Enjoy! First up we have the Gotham City Police Department main cast, from left to right: Crispus Allen, Commissioner Gordon, Havery Bullock and Renee Montoya. I'm really happy with the suit choice for Harvey, and plan to use Indy's coat from the Venice set for Gordon. Credit to the Penguin for Montoya's face, which I felt needed to be more serious: Now the Gotham SWAT, which are based on the dark deco designs of Batman: The Animated Series, though these guys may be replaced by the space Police unifroms in the future: This is from the earlier days of Batman's career. We have left to right Flass - Gordon's corrupt partner with Green Beret training, not to be confused with the crappy Begins movie version, young Gordon and his daughter, would-be Batgirl and Oracle, Barbara Gordon: These are some of Gotham's lowlife hoods, as well as one victim with a torn suit who is smirking because, well because I ran out of flesh heads to use Smirking to cope with trauma maybe? Gotham's first families, with Carmine Falcone and his rival Sal Maroni pictured at the front. I really think both their faces suit quite well. And the back left guy looks suspiciously like a smiling character before a certain dip... The Arkham crew, consisting of crazed inmates, security (not pictured as they are actual Lego figs) and particularly Doctor Jeremiah Arkham and Proffesor Hugo Strange, the latter of which some will know as a villain who becomes obsessed with Batman. Anyone who has seen comic Hugo will see that Ock's face is perfect for him: Here is Lucius Fox, CEO of Wayne Enterprises and provider of Bat gadgets, and Summer Gleeson, Gotham reporter: The Joker gang, which includes clown goons, jester goon, slicked-back-hair-Joker, Fedora Joker, Harley Quinn with proper glove colours and their pet hyenas Bud and Lou: The Mr Freeze crew, which includes better suit details blue Mr Freeze, and grey and black clear dome Mr Freeze, which I am really proud of. The jacket henchman is also handy, glad I bought that Taun Taun set: Here is the Penguin's staff, including his Iceberg Lounge Chef, personal assistant, Iceberg Lounge valet boy as well as the Leader Penguin: The gunbrella, which I originally made as a tribute to fellow member and friend; The Penguin: Mad Hatter (kindly made by LuxorV, my main regret being that my printer has crappy colour quality), Black Mask, firefly (who I am very proud with, especially with that new flame piece) and Suit Riddler complete with my own custom question mark cane (which one day will use discreet stickytape rather than overt blue tac ) Poison Ivy with sexy new hairdo with her plant goons, who I like better this way rather than using troll faces, as they seem more plant-like and eerie without faces: Talia Al Ghul with sexy new exotic dress, jungle adventure Bruce and the mysterious Ra's Al Ghul: Original with better shot of Ra's, which dress works better? Out-of-costume Tim Drake - The third Robin found in the sets, barechested Bruce, and out-of-costume Dick Grayson - first Robin and currently Nightwing: Robin's black and red costume from the comics, Shadow Batman (I use this Batman as the classic "shadow" with just white eyes often shown in animation) and Batman's undercover mob identity Matches Malone (whose face is a perfect match for the comics, awesome job of Brainbox for bringing it up) Two-Face's twin silent henchmen; Romulus and Remus, I'm happy with their streamlined look. And my personal favourites, Red Hood - which was the Joker's criminal identity before his chemical bath and also his heroic mirror self from a different usiverse as seen in the awesome Brave and the Bold cartoon, and Lady Shiva, the ultimate master of martial art who has come to blows with Batman numerous times and nearly killed him: Just a point, the Red Hood's hood is a classic space helmet, so the other side has a visor hole in it so call cheats if oyu want, but I'm still very happy with how he turned out and when looking at him just turn the helmet to fit the angle I'm looking at him with. Thanks for looking everyone and comments are really appreciated! And as promised, here is the prositute: What? Not satisfied with that? Fine! Have some Cross-Dressing Lightning Babe instead! You know you all missed him/her! Guy with purple hair = you Batbrick will invent the Crossdressing Lightning Babe Squad!

LuxorV Posted November 12, 2009 You did a really wonderful work on these figs, Batbrick And to think most of them are totally purist makes me like them all the more (and, yes, I'm just a bit envious of your great MF collection ). Since there's a 'so far' in the topic title, I belive we'll see more of them, right? Keep them coming LuxorV
jonwil Posted November 12, 2009 Wow that's a lot of Batman figs. I especially like the way you did Fedora joker (to the untrained eye it almost looks like its a real part :) and the joker with the green Agents hair.

Batbrick Posted November 12, 2009 Thanks everyone! You did a really wonderful work on these figs, Batbrick And to think most of them are totally purist makes me like them all the more (and, yes, I'm just a bit envious of your great MF collection ). Since there's a 'so far' in the topic title, I belive we'll see more of them, right? Keep them coming Thanks LuxorV, great so see you again! Yeah, for the most part I like to keep purist, though I occasionally make msall exceptions like painting the backs of the plant figs so the torso print is not seen and securing Freeze's dome with a thin sliver of blue tac. Thanks for the frontpage too! And yes, I plan to improve and continue making batfigs! Wow that's a lot of Batman figs. I especially like the way you did Fedora joker (to the untrained eye it almost looks like its a real part :) and the joker with the green Agents hair. Thanks mate, the purple fedora is one of my greatest achievements, somehow by mixing paints I got a shade nearly identical to the fig. good job man! super! i love it!!!! :D hehe keep it up.... maybe u can do other characters too aside from batman? like the justice league? what would be a joy to see! :D hehe Thanks, but there are really not that many characters I can do outside of Batman, especially Justice League considering I would need very specific prints and pieces. However I might make The Question, Shining Knight and some other obscure ones, one day. Thanks for your input A very nice collection, indeed. ) I may take a few tips for mine. ) Keep them up! ) Thanks friend, glad oyu commented. Oh, and for some reason I forgot the pics of all the figs together (except Joker's gang and Freeze's group, who I forgot because I'm the mental equivelant of a cabbage ) ,so I've added that to the original post. Batbrick Away!
rafsemedo Posted November 12, 2009 These are SO SWEET! I envy that army of minifigs It's pretty cool that you get stuff out of the comics! I'm amazed
WhiteFang Posted November 13, 2009 Awesome display! It's great to re-visit these Batman minifigs once more, in a much consolidated topic. I truly enjoy viewing all of these magnificent and unique villians, civilians and our hero, Batman and the rest of his fighting crime teammates. Must admit that without you and The Penguin in EB, we couldn't have enjoyed so much of Batman MOCs and your creativity, despite of the end of the license. I am missing this theme already. IronArtist Posted November 13, 2009 Absolutely love the Jokers. Any chance of a shot with just the two Jokers and Harley?
NicksBricks Posted November 15, 2009 Really, cool BatBrick. I really like the police and the Freeze men. I also like how you used that little yellow technic piece as a donut.
Batbrick Posted November 19, 2009 Sorry to bump everyone, my computer was afflicted with a porn virus recently! (Yes you read that right; a porn virus. And don't give me that look, I don't know where it came from ) It's pretty cool that you get stuff out of the comics! Thanks, I do like pulling obscure things from the comics, but also enjoy the animated series more and so a lot of my designs relfect the various animated incarnations. Awesome display! Thanks Whitefang mate, always appreciated. Yeah, I am very sad to see it go as well, espeically since the latter two years of its life were pretty wasted in my opinion. Still ,we got most of the crucial characters! And I already have several projects going to continue the theme! Absolutely love the Jokers. Any chance of a shot with just the two Jokers and Harley? Sorry, they're all back in the display right now and am using them for something soon, my brickshelf folder might have something though, it's under my username. Really, cool BatBrick. I really like the police and the Freeze men. I also like how you used that little yellow technic piece as a donut. Thanks NicksBricks, I'm so very, very, very glad someone finally caught the donut! It was the subject of a rather humourous discussion when I made my GCPD and no one knew what it was Thanks again everyone! Batbrick Away!
