I would have voted anything Imperial but since we've got Eldorado Fortress remake I rather would go with Islanders stuff, especially 6262: King Kahuka's Throne that could reintroduce islanders figs with new pirates ones.

There are a lot of really great choices here, but ultimately I went with Sabre Island... I love that set! But I'll probably change my mind soon. I would honestly take ANY of these as a remake GWP with glee!

I have expressed before that Sabre Island would be a lovely GWP. If LEGO wishes to focus on early Pirates years then this one would be perfect!

I voted for Lagoon Lock-Up. It's my favorite Pirates set of all times! Although i dislike the concept of GWPs and wish they would make it a regular set

Cannon Cove, LEGO needs some new redcoats, and set has plenty of room to modernize a bit for a GWP. 

I think some of those are a bit too big , like lagoon lockup / kahuka throne 5 minifigs, and sails or special moulds like kahuka mask in a GWP seems very unlikely.

Sabre Island would be my second choice, very doable with Eldorado parts, except for the small flag. 

GWP are tricky , I rather see regular sets, as they can reuse torsos of redcoats and pirates multiple times then (and special helmets/masks). At the very most LEGO has shown they can do 1 torso print for a GWP (Majisto's dragon knight guard,  and double-sided Blacktron 1 torsos)

Redcoat / Bluecoat small flag can be done with stickers if desperate, but obviously would like prints.

I chose Sabre Island because I believe it would be perfect as an GWP. I made my decision based on the size and form of the set. The subthemes I'd mostly want to see in a GWP are the Islanders or the Imperial Armada because they haven't been getting any new sets since the 90s. Maybe the the GWP could be an Armada version of Sabre Island with an Islanders canoe instead of a boat?

I chose Armada Sentry because I want to see an update of the Armada soldiers.

Lagoon Lockup FTW!! Saber Island is #2 for me.

Another vote for Lagoon Lockup. So many good sets. I'd take any of these, but I already have the 1st three from when i was a kid.

I don't have any Islander sets, so King Kahuka's Throne or Islander Catamaran would be my 2nd and 3rd choices.

All real good choices, but in the end I was torn between Sabre Island and Lagoon Lockup.

 

In the end I went with Lagoon because it has a little more going on story wise, but I'd love to see a modern version of either.

 

 

I would love to see a brand new Islanders set though, that would be super duper exciting

According to the results of the poll Sabre Island would be the most popular choice for a GWP remake and personally i think it is also the most likely one. But LEGO works in mysterious ways  We'll see
