That's awesome.  I also have 16 of the fright knights from the CMF.  I just swapped out the grill helm for the great helm in silver looks much better and swapped out the heads with some of the ice zombie heads from Ninjago.  So I'm trying to make a small army of the Fright knights and Bat lords.  Right now I've got them in the old vampire castle from monster hunters but I will need something bigger because I have some other vampires too.

Curent fan designs are much better because A) no part limits B) they can focus entirely on display (ex: so many tower builds use techniques which make the interior impossible to use) C) they have access to every part Lego ever made, even if it is no longer in production and D) they are AFOLs focusing on making a build fitting with AFOL specifications, and not with that of a general public, which is something we need to keep in mind,

That said, the build is OK, but I must admit it isn't great.

LEGO is one of my hobbies, something to do to relax, have fun, and relieve stress.  Not something to get worked up over and cause thoughts of frustration and despair.

Absolutely my opinion, I understand the frustration but I just don't get frustrated.

I really like it! and can't wait to pair it with the Lion's Castle.

I think my only gripe is that I wish we got another Dragon Master minifigure - as someone with only the new era of castle sets, I have heaps of Lions and Falcons but only the one dragon from the Majisto GWP.

I'm looking forward to this set.  Dark ages during the time the other two village sets were released.  I'm really liking this one to be able to add to my collection of other Castle sets.  I looked at the BDP sets going up for order today and while I like most of them I never can seem to justify the cost in comparison to getting a brand new official LEGO set that has new parts & new building techniques.  While the BDP Mountain Fortress is nice it looks too similar to the Lion Knights Castle to me with a few fancy additions, I could just get another Lion Knights Castle for $30 more.  So I'm opting for saving some money and going with Medieval Town Square with all the shiny new townsfolk and goat.  Just sorry I didn't buy a few more calves, sheep & baby pigs before they retired them.  I will be ordering a few more Cows, Horses & baby Lambs soon, should be good on Pigs thanks to the VIP packs & BAM.  I'm glad they put in mostly villagers rather than a bunch of knights as I already have plenty of the recent available ones and a lot of old ones.  Happy for the Wolfpack guy since I probably don't have more that a couple of those.  And I really like the colors they used on the Tax Collector.  What I can make out of the Villagers looks really good too.  I've also managed to acquire a dozen Goatherds & a small army of Vampire Knights so I can populate a Batlord Castle as well as set up a goat pasture.

After seeing the higher resolution pictures, I think the minifigure selection is great.  Some great torso prints and those are a lot harder to come by compared to adding in some extra animals/trees.  While I really would've liked a few more animals like the cow, I'm sure the price of the set would've went up accordingly.  I do think the reduced amount of animals/minifigures makes the outdoor market portion look a little sparse compared to the original leaked photo.  I might have to build another small merchant stand to add in along with any additional animals.  I'm glad a snagged a few more sheep in the fall on PAB.  I too, debated on getting the Mountain Fortress today, but ended up not getting it (the site being down at 11 and then having a dentist appointment and work to catch up on after made me think about it too much).  I really liked the look and it was probably my favorite build out of all the BDP sets so far, maybe I'll end up parting it out down the road since most pieces should be easily available.

I'm waiting for the forest stronghold and see what the price will be on that on BDP.  I also started voting for some in series 4.  I think the town square looks good, I also like the figure selection and the grey goat is nice.  I also think there is a new door mold but it's hard to tell from the photos.  I think I might add a farm to this set or some other small buildings and see what it looks like next to the lion knights castle.

Instagram and now Discord.  Higher resolution at least.  Still can't see the postings on the tree, but can see the guard's fluffy mustache, 6 new torso prints, Wolfpack return, a detailed tapestry, and edges of stickers.  I'm still hoping many are prints...

Any chance Kingdom's Joust is coming based on the tapestry???  And that's why Lego held their horses with this set?  I'm building a version now out of Creator Castle.

My guess are a forestmen or a joust set are next in line. Probably not in a couple of years, I am fine with Space getting a new set next year (spare me the disappointment for Pirates and Castle). They held they horses to save money and they will do the same with a big joust set and only include 2 there as well

That is the point! The set would not increase 10$ for a cow if they added it, we could also get some animals in new colors and they would have at minimum kept a lot of animals in stock. Calf, piglet and sheep fur was only in one set, sheep in 2 and they are all out of production now, so I am glad I bought around 10 copy's of the city farm set and a lot of extra animals if some of them end up like the goat in 10 years time

Unlike most people, I like the production buildings on the left better than the inn and watchtower on the right. I don't like how strangely they connect together. One of my favorite things about Lego is improving official sets. I'm already planning to separate the red building from the inn and build back side. I don't like the fact that to get to the shield smith, you have to go through the Inn :( I will add an additional entrance to the workshop, and a small armory and a prison cell on 1 floor of the lion knight outposts. I will also add stairs to the floor and probably some additional tables. This way I will have a village consisting of three building sections :D. I just have to wait until most of the parts are available in PAB.

I also like the left building more since it looks good closed up, where the right one is so different on both sides that it's hard to decide how to even display it closed up.

I'm curious to see how it looks beside LKC, they could have shown it on the box. Also why the black box? It completely kills the vibe.

Now that we have wolfpack is back let's have a big baddies set next.

Also, since the set is full of stickers, there may be a sheet of stickers from different factions that can be applied to empty shields, including the wolfpack logo.

I'd really hope the new Lion shield isn't a print, which would probably mean no faction sticker sheet (as I kinda doubt they'd make such an extra)...

At least we know why theres no cow in the set or why the boy doesn't have parents! They are out of town buying a cow because they need more milk. Shame we couldnt get the version of the set which is a week later in the timeline where they returned with the cow
