https://falconbricks.com/category/starwars/ the list I've been going by. FalconBricks is legit.

This list is outdated: jabba’s throne room is either delayed to next year or cancelled and the list is missing three sets: the swamp speeder, the spider droid, and yoda’s starfighter

Hm, that's interesting.  I assume it will be either one of the two Kenobi versions or the one from the Jedi Starfighter, since those are the only Obi-Wans in production right now.  A Kenobi version would be cool.

Sigh. No. Disney is not celebrating the ‘03 Clone Wars show because it’s not canon and it’s too niche by their standards. There hasn’t been a single ‘03 product tied to this branding. There’s zero proof of a connection to the Tartokovsky series, it’s an umbrella anniversary for anything related to clones.

It's the 20th anniversary of clone wars. Clearly they are using it as an anniversary for anything related to clones (which I'll remind you, this whole conversation started because you were arguing that the 501st specialists battle pack

All the clone wars and ROTJ arguments aside, this year seems to be pretty peak imo, W tie bomber, W spider droid, W fang fighter v tie interceptor, W ahsoka sets, W swamp speeder, you get the point, one of the best years we've had in a while, i'd say the last time was 2015/2016, a great mix of different sets, 2021 was close but it was too mando themed.

Might be a bit too early to call the unseen sets Ws yet, but the ones that have been revealed are definately excellent. Lego Star Wars has been doing great since the end of the new-film waves.

Again, the clone wars logo encompasses the entirety of the clone wars, not the ‘03 show, Hasbro and hot toys and Lego are just following Disney marketing, and my point stands that it is (personally) disappointing to me that Lego chose video game clones for (yet another) 501st battle pack. Believe me, I’d LOVE a Muunilist gunship from the ‘03 show, but I doubt we’ll ever see another Lego set based on that show again.

By that logic, the marvel multiverse saga sets that are mislabeled as infinity saga mean that they're in the infinity saga...

Don’t know anything about Marvel, but there are zero ‘03 toys with 20th anniversary labels across three toy manufacturers. Pretty sure that closes the book.

The Pirate Snubfighter and N-1 Microfighter are already 20% off despite not being released yet.

That's hilarious.

I do wonder how these'll sell. The snubfighter lacks any recognizable characters or anything particularly desirable, and the N-1 is just absurdly overpriced (60% more than other microfighters in the US), while also lacking anything desirable, given how common Mando and Grogu are. Maybe Grogu gets some sales, but you can't walk down the lego aisle of a store without exiting with a surplus of Din minifigures.

I think we're actually agreeing on some points (that they are using the 20th anniversary of 03 clone wars just for clones in general, although it is inarguable that the anniversary logo on the box is of clone wars 03), but it seems contradictory to claim that the anniversary is for anything clone wars but that a clone trooper battle pack "is as relevant to “Clone Wars” as a tie bomber or x wing".

Because 2008 is way more relevant and popular, they don't care about 2003, they use this opportunity to milk TCW even more, there shouldn't even be a clone wars celebration if they're just gonna celebrate TCW, + we know about the clone wars ever since the first star wars movie, 2003 clone wars  isn't canon, they don't care about legends, the last 2003 set we got was a year after disney made 2003 clone wars into legends.

Edit: they mostly make whatever is popular and new, its all about eras, also clone wars isn't just about the clones y'know, i want a set with mace destroying b2 battle droids.

Edit 2: we got a billion TCW sets a decade ago because it was what was new and trendy in star wars, same reason why we're getting so much mando.

The splitting of hairs and the back-and-forth needs to stop. Sometimes it's entertaining or informative, right now it's petty.

I threw FalconBricks list in here earlier and found it interesting that while a few of the new sets we have learned about aren't yet listed, they have put Jabbas Throne Room in as 75357. It wasn't there last i checked so its a new addition. Did this news subtly break?

Edit: 1400 pieces seems a bit peculiar but maybe Lego is trying to evolve the diorama sets to be a bit bigger like the new Indy Golden Idol set being 1500 pieces for $150 while still fitting that diorama vibe.

Lego insider news told me set 75357 isn’t jabbas palace and I trust him tbh

The fact that Jabba's is 75357 is not from a reputable source. The part count of 1394 is legitimate, but not the fact that it is Jabba's palace. That was just speculated.

This guy has been banned from r/legoleak. Mods said, "Due to their frequent stealing of info, removing watermarks, and dubious post history, we will not be posting anything they post here". I would not trust this guy anymore lmao.

Me too. "Hair splitting" is just arguing over extreme technicalities, like how the bomber is *technically* in Return of the Jedi or how while the clone wars anniversary is *technically* for Clone Wars 2003, it's being used for any clone wars era content. MKAJosh's just telling us we've got to stop arguing about it.

That's interesting. I didn't even realize the 1394 set was different than the 1083 set. The fact that we've got 2 big boys coming (These are alongside the ahsoka sets, right? Not the two ahsoka sets, just releasing the same day?), does give me some hope that we'll get at least one of the mantis, fondor, gunship, or the other highly-requested large ships. That said, it could always just be the skeleton crew ship and TIE echelon or something. Lego's done stranger things before.

Yeah I know but I’ve talked to him on private, he seems trust worthy enough and I think what happened was a misunderstanding

Correct. The two large unknown sets and the Ahsoka sets are all lined up for September. It’s going to be a very expensive month provided they’re good sets.

@Pedilego It’s funny you bring up Micro Galaxy Squadron, I love that line. They made a Yoda’s Starfighter fairly recently so it’s quite funny that Lego are also bringing it back this year. I keep flip-flopping on whether this set will be as lacklustre as it sounds or if it’ll include a third minifigure that’s more desirable than Yoda and R2 to seal the deal. Cynicism says it’ll be just those two, but part of me also feels like Lego will put something else in there to make the set more appealing.
