barneius Posted December 28, 2020 (edited) I've always liked Speed Champions theme, but never bought any set until they've switched to 8 studs wide. The new scale gave the ability to design so much better models. Once I've bought F8 Tributo set, I knew I was going to build the supercar of my childhood - Ferrari F40 in this scale. And here it is - 368 pieces 8 studs wide Speed Champions style model of Ferrari F40 - one of the most iconic and most recognizable supercars ever. It is my debut in this scale and it is the first car I've built. PDF step-by-step instructions available at rebrickable. Vilhelm22 Posted December 30, 2020 Very nice! I have the F8, and this also looks excellent! I see you’ve used the F8 windscreen piece. Can we see a side by side comparison?

Feuer Zug Posted January 6, 2021 Excellent merging of the two models. You've captured the F40 better than the 6-wide version ever could.
DodgeDude5498 Posted January 9, 2021 This is so awesome! Even though I preferred 6-wide (since they fit better into a layout), I'm always amazed at what guys like you can do with the new scale. Love the use of the stickers from the 6-wide set!
Stuartn Posted January 9, 2021 I am one of the people who prefers 4-wide still (aside from truck and buses), but I still really like the moc, you've captured the angles of the windscreen especially perfectly, and the use of the translucent black cheese slopes is done very well.
