Since you have two of the new trains can you please test a single controller connecting to both trains? Maybe see this thread to help us understand better.

Seems like a way to use technology to make something more complicated! (YMMV, of course....)

Awesome! Looks like we can control at least 4 different motors from on PU controller. This is great news!

Great review.  I must say I do like this set and am much more positive about it now than I was earlier in the year when all we had to go on was the bad quality leaked catalogue shots. The large stickers on the side of the cab definitely help to improve the overall look of the engine.

I just finished building two sets of the train and its a great build, the new nose cone fits really well and the design of the engine, especially how the nose section attaches, is really well done and very strong construction. 

The use of the Earth Blue colour is great as its not a colour we usually see in many sets.

I couldn't wait for the new Power Up lights to come out so I used the Power Functions ones with a 9V monorail battery box. Looks cool.
