needyblue Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) Hello everyone, today i want you to show my latest creation. I call it "Miami Surf Shop". ;) I tried to create a modern style Miami building, inspired by some pictures i found on Google. Surfing is one of my personal intrests and so i combined it with one of my other intrests "Lego". http://bob-leonard-florida.com/floridanabob/VeniceB.jpghttp://bob-leonard-florida.com/floridanabob/VeniceA.jpg I's not the first Lego surf shop, but i hope, a nice one. Some details: Parts: 1740 mostly Created on Lego Designer 4.3 and all parts ordered on Bricklink. It takes 13 orders to complete the parts. peedeejay Posted October 5, 2016 Nice build. I like the simplistic design of the exterior which totally works here, even though I may have used a third color next to black and tan. The interior also has some cool details.

Thanks for your comment. I also thought about a third maincolor. But nothing matched for me.
finnbricker Posted October 5, 2016 I like this! Very realistic façade, not too many details but doesn't look boring either. The interior is great, too, and not too crammed.

-zenn Posted October 5, 2016 Sweet build. Love the way how you made the display tables, never seen it done before!
yg33 Posted October 5, 2016 (edited) This would be really cool with a big brick build surf board attatched somewhere along the front Edited October 5, 2016 by yg33

wooootles Posted October 6, 2016 As many pointed out, you don't need a building with ornate spires and fancy facades to make a MOC look great. This is a fantastic build! Very real-world looking.
Dazz Posted October 8, 2016 This is a really nice build. I hope you don't mind if I borrow your display table idea at some point.

TimeLord Posted October 10, 2016 Awesome modern looking modular that really captures the feel of such surf shops, at least the way I remember them back hope in NZ. Keep up the good work, am looking forward to see your next project!
