macsergey Posted January 25, 2016 Hello. I want to introduce you to the new model: Helicopter Mi-171 (modification MI-8). The model is made to scale minifigures and all its dimensions and proportions as close as possible to this helicopter. I decided to make a civil cargo modification that can be easily completed yet in the passenger version. original photo review model photo in more detail Some functions of the model minifigures in the cockpit I welcome your comments and feedback. dr_spock Posted January 25, 2016 Great job. That cockpit window works well. Should post a warning of way too many photos for those of us with slow internet connections.

Sarles Posted January 25, 2016 Awesome work on this! All of the visual ques I look for in a MI-8 are there and with the glass you put on there for the front windscreen make this classic bird look a lot more modern. Well done all around on this build. ER0L Posted February 16, 2016 Looks great! Nice to see a helicopter here, I'm always wondering why there are so few mocced aircraft and helicopters in the EB Town department ... I especially love those turbine exhausts. The construction of the 5-blade rotor looks quite sophisticated. Nice that it fits two pilots. Could you tell something about the exact scale of this? ER0L Posted February 16, 2016 Scale is 1:37,5. One pin is real 30sm Thanks! I would have thought it's a bit smaller, like 1:40 or 1:42. But 1:37,5 is a nice scale, also regarding the match with other vehicles.
