SeptemLego Posted January 13, 2016 Two years ago I modified my existing 10228 Haunted House with a modular garden addon: https://scontent-fra3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfa1/v/t1.0-9/10264272_1577598932464685_5152294123778098989_n.jpg?oh=a29766c6c9b0fd02885ef032ca7b4cf1&oe=5748F112 That was nice but I always thought that I could do a lot more. Now I rebuilt the whole house from the scratch. I recycled the original design and added a lot of new details like a winter garden (inspired from the Scooby Doo 75904 set). In total there are about 4100 bricks used for my MOC. The house can stil be opened like a doll house for a maximum of 90 degrees. The ladder trap door is stil functional. I hope you like it :). The house is also modular... I just raised the baseplate a little to make it more stable (neighbour modulars must also be modified that way in order to connect them). CasualBuilder Posted January 13, 2016 It's fantastic! I love how you incorporate the collectible minifigs and the Scooby Doo theme.
Venunder Posted January 13, 2016 A good Modification of the Haunted House. A nice use of the Monster Minifigs and some scooby-doo characters. I think it needs some internal walls to separate the rooms. Some Sand Green brick profile bricks on the outside walls would also be a good addition.

mediumsnowman Posted January 14, 2016 Excellent! Every haunted house needs a greenhouse. Lovely integration of the Halloween CMF as well.

sule99 Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Epic work! With so many details... Do you plan build whole diorama around this? That would be awsome :) Edited January 14, 2016 by sule99
SeptemLego Posted January 14, 2016 Epic work! With so many details... Do you plan build whole diorama around this? That would be awsome :) Yes, I have an 1,4m display where I plan to make my own street with custom buildings. I already have a hotel (which also needs a makeover) and the next building is planned. Withacee Posted January 14, 2016 Great stuff. Love the winter garden and the trees as well. Great interior details, and it's good to see you kept the hinged principle to open the house. Keep clicking those bricks together!
TheLegoDr Posted January 14, 2016 Very fun. I like the modification. I may need to look into doing something similar. The interior is what makes the MOC though. Good work.

Littleworlds Posted May 5, 2016 I supported this on ideas! Simply an amazing build, with no "dead" spots (despite its inhabitants^^). Quite exemplary for how to build large houses in Lego - great!
