    MOC - Waibriki Beach Hotel

I completed my new MOC to extend my city display. The Hotel is heavily inspired by "The Cocoa Hotel" made by Snailad. My version is kind of modular to my own system. This build has about 6.1k bricks.
  5. No Problem! I used only default settings during installation. So no additional magic is done here. As you mentioned I also guess that the VMWate Tools openGL drives do the trick.
  6. I have the same issue on my new PC. I run everything on Win10 and a 1080GTX. I solved it with a workaround. I installed VMware Workstation 12 Player and set up a VM with my old Win7 license. Right there I installed the VM Tools with 3D Acceleration. -> Here you go everything runs as well as always with outlines and everything. You can just drag and drop your lxf files from your host to your guest machine. Set up takes about 30-45m.
  7. There are news: The legal office checked the items altered by CB and declared them as OK. It took them about 6 days and regarding the customs guy they several phone calls to clear some details. But overall this is totally legal to import. Had to pay a lot of import fees but that´s an other thing ;).

MOC - Haunted House Redux (modular)

Yes, I have an 1,4m display where I plan to make my own street with custom buildings. I already have a hotel (which also needs a makeover) and the next building is planned.

MOC - Haunted House Redux (modular)

Two years ago I modified my existing 10228 Haunted House with a modular garden addon: https://scontent-fra3-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-xfa1/v/t1.0-9/10264272_1577598932464685_5152294123778098989_n.jpg?oh=a29766c6c9b0fd02885ef032ca7b4cf1&oe=5748F112 That was nice but I always thought that I could do a lot more. Now I rebuilt the whole house from the scratch. I recycled the original design and added a lot of new details like a winter garden (inspired from the Scooby Doo 75904 set). In total there are about 4100 bricks used for my MOC. The house can stil be opened like a doll house for a maximum of 90 degrees. The ladder trap door is stil functional. I hope you like it :). The house is also modular... I just raised the baseplate a little to make it more stable (neighbour modulars must also be modified that way in order to connect them).
  10. I already contacted CB and as far as that they can tell import is no problem at all -> because they stated the products as modified non offical lego sets. I´m very curious what the legal office is telling me.
  11. Hello, today I would have recieved and order of http://citizenbrick.com. They are specialized in printing and modifing offical lego bricks. The customs officer (here in germany) told me that there may be a problem with importing custom lego bricks! Now my parts (all offical lego parts) are shipped to a legal agent who works for the LEGO Group and has to check if thats true. If he decilnes that items all will be destroyed! Has someone similar experience here in europe or even in germany? All Items from citizen brick are marked with the following sentence: "This is not a LEGO® Product. These are re-used LEGO elements that have been repackaged or altered from their original form. LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this product. The LEGO Group is not liable for any loss, injury or damage arising from the use or misuse of this product" I´m really unsure right now about this because I think that should be perfectly legal. I´m also afraid of legal consequences and also the total loss of the money for the set. Greets,

    Search for a specific part

Thank you! I will contact the sellers.
  13. Hello, I am looking for a specific part on which I dont find any 100% correct information. LEGO Brick 1 x 2 x 1.33 with Curved Top I need this Brick in bright pink (the new version like the bright pink in the new friends sets). Regarding to Brickset this Part does not exist in that color... only the old pink from the mid 90s Lego Paradisa Sets. On Brickowl I do find that item in the new Bright Pink (and also the old pink): http://www.brickowl.com/catalog/lego-brick-1-x-2-x-1-33-with-curved-top-6091 I cannot find any reference from which set that part is from. Does the seller just pick the wrong color or does this brick actually exist? I would be so glad if someone could help me ;)! Greets!
  14. My wife always wanted me to build a classic christmas crib from wood and stuff. I´m not into stuff like this very much. So I came up with anothe idea... lets build one of lego! To make it more challenging we picked an existing set and wanted to get along with party supplied with the specific set. The 75052 Mos Eisley Cantina was just perfect! There are only two additional Bricks we used... one plain white head and one female wig. So here is the result. The three holy alienkings came along to visit Joseph-Wan Kenobi und Maria Solo! :)
