Brainbox Posted June 15, 2008 SCHOOOOOL's out. for. summer! And I thought we finished early. I've another week to go yet. But then I get 10 (I think) weeks off, so it's not too bad. I'll volunteer in a primary school for a couple of days a week until they finish (mid-July), then enjoy the holidays. Unfortunately, all my friends seem to be out of the country at the same time... We did have a chance at defeating them, came close to equalizing the game, but unfortunately didn't do so. Don't rub it in the faces of their fans, even when they're bummed out by the loss. Don't think most of America's that interested... Actually the lost the semi final against Italy And Italy then became World Champion Pretty sure you mean the quarterfinal against Argentina tho... Watched the game yesterday too. Pretty good game I must say. The first goal was prefect. Quarryman Posted June 22, 2008 So, today I've visited the opera. That is, I went to a concert with what is probably Norway's best band ever; Seigmen. They are for most practical reasons not an active band, but when the brand new opera house asked them to perform how could they refuse Only, this time they had support from a men's choir, and a string ensemble. Which worked great, some of their songs are very well suited for both choir and strings.
