Widdi Posted November 1, 2007 (edited) B-RV-2D I've CADed another nice minifig home recently. it's obviously based on sets like 6349 from 1988. The house can be populated with up to 3 minifigs, since there are beds in the upper floor for 3 persons. The lower floor has, the err garage, a kitchen, a living room and an entryway, where I've included a small LEGO record player, which can actually be spun. I've included a car and outside a barbeque, too. And as with all my classic City-style buildings it has an open backside for playability this is the Cad-MOC in all it's glory. The whole scene is as always just squeezed on a 32x16 plate. This is the turntable as stated above, since my minifigs need some music, as well a Cd-player wouldn't really fit as nice to an oldschool LEGO house. I'll rebuild this home to Real bricks, when I find the time. Full Instructions here ,When moderated mFg Widdi Edited September 7, 2011 by Phred
El Bucanero Posted November 1, 2007 That's cool Widdi! *y* You captured the atmosphere of an oldschool city building very well. Gotta love those details like the kitchen and the neat little car. Would be great if LEGO made sets like these again. Turntable on!!
Six Wide Bob Posted November 1, 2007 Top notch! That's like from back in the day when shoe-laces were fat, and Michael Jackson was Black! Bob
Cabby Posted November 1, 2007 Wow very nice ! Especially gotta love the turntable. *wub* Being myself a turntable freak, i'll just make one as yours to put on my desk *sweet*
Lord Of Pies Posted November 1, 2007 Wow! Again, like so many wonderful MOC's here, if this were a real set, I would buy it! The details are fantastic, and the little record player is a nice touch as well. Having looked at more detailed shots of the car, I love that as well, it looks strangely realistic! A Back garden would of been nice, and if it were actually made as well! *wub* *wub*

Klaus-Dieter Posted November 2, 2007 (edited) That's a brilliant MOC, Widdi! The house with its nice interior and its nice outside is very well designed and I like the car with doors very much! I would like to see something like this as an official Lego set! Edited November 2, 2007 by Klaus-Dieter
maiq the liar Posted November 2, 2007 MAN i wish that was a real set.
natelite Posted November 2, 2007 wow...it's a pretty cool design. the "garage" though would be excellent as a pergola. so move that car away from there and put down some tiles. ;-) good job! i love it. *y* edit: it really looks like those cape cod houses in bergen county, nj. WhiteFang Posted April 20, 2008 I don't know how to use such program and i never expect it can create such wonderful design! I love this house very much, it reminded me the 1980s LEGO house, in particular this set!
