Personally I think lego shouldn't re-release cafe corner a lot of people would be very unhappy as they have these older sets as an investment and re-releasing old sets will only lower the price of the older ones I instead would prefer mini modulars 2

Loving the new elements in the bank 1 the new diagonal tiles on the ground floor inside the bank 2 the scrolls under the desk 3 the stamp in the upstairs office

I don't want to say the wrong thing and this will probably be removed anyway.. But I do see that in the recent modular announcement videos that Jamie is introducing to us as a bit girly or maybe childish, he is the lead designer on them but I do see them a bit differently now that there has a story behind the buildings. I can't help think this has come about because he has a slightly camp and so is Mathew James Ashton (CEO lego) (don't get me wrong I'm not against that in anyway) but I see this as having an influence on the way these buildings are built and how they coming across.. But on the other hand lego could just be trying to bring new people and children to the modular line. Or if you just didn't want to know about the story, just don't watch the announcement videos and you wouldn't know about at story behind the building

I have hurd from a member of the lego worldwide council, that lego is showing the next batch of sets to employees on August 23rd 2015. Including winter village set next modular creator sets and new star wars sets to, I'm sure there are more themes aswell but these are the only ones I want to know about. So we will have to wait and see pictures will surely leak out after the 23rd

I have Hurd from a vary reliable source (lego employee and on the lego world council) That lego have the next 4 or 5 modulars done sat on a shelf somewhere!!!!! I built one a while back when Sergio's had just arrived unto the world. I liked his design so I played with it for ages and come up with a small version, it's currently on ebay if you want to see pictures.

Just finished my ghostbusters headquarters!!! Not going to lie I have take inspiration from the lego ideas one. Smaller in most ways but still has all the details.

The lego shop has been updated and the detective office is now available woo hoooo

That's weird!! What did the email about the mirror say Lego really has dropped the ball this time!!!!! I will keep refreshing till it's avalable

Sorry I just assumed it had as some people are saying they have ordered 2 already and that it now has a lead time before next dispatch

But the detective office was on sale in the US at some point but quickly went out of stock (no surprise there) just hope they haven't brought all the European copies as I really want the flower cart exclusive to go with my balloon and hotdog stands. But yeah someone at Lego is gonna get a slap.....

Your have to forgive me I've dropped in on this thread after a long absence. So am I right in saying that all the latest info is pointing to a Jamie creation and it might be a detectives office. In my opinion I would love to see a two building set like the pet shop with maybe a newsagents on the bottom floor with a detective office above kind of in a noir film style, with another town house next door. In my opinion Jamie's designs are the best to look at and Astrids are the best for playability. So what ever way you look at it, it will be a win win situation anyway As long as the part count keeps rising and the colours keep moving I don't care as I'm gonna buy them all anyway as there is always a building on any street in the world that you won't like the look of. Just make each one different....

Does anyone not notice that this whole thread about a modular carousel must be fake.... Lego has already done a grand carousel and the set number that people keep throwing around is actually from the town hall!!!! Come on people work it out.....
