Jebediahs Posted October 21, 2009 Ladies and gentlemen! ) I'm proud to present you my new castle minifigs update. ) I hope you'll like them! ) Quoted because he deserves to be on every page! This mage is really cool. Especially since he's painted by hand. No offense to decalers but I think it looks better than a decal could and perhaps takes more skill to paint it than to create a decal (don't shoot me ). I know my hand's nowhere near steady enough to pull something like this off. Great great job. Looks exactly like the reference pictures.

I know my hand's nowhere near steady enough to pull something like this off. Great great job. Looks exactly like the reference pictures. Oh, you're too kind! ) Well, decals are also very hard to make (mostly all) and it requires some special skills, but what I like about painting is that the figs are more "alive" that way. You don't just stick paper to it, but you create it with love and care, as every job that you like should be done. ) Though EB decal-makers are specialists of a highest level and deserve great respect and gratitude for all their hard work. ) I hope you will continue this series and someday I will see here my favorite units from Conflux- Psychic and Magic Elementals! The day has come. Here from the elemental world to battle the evil Kreegans comes the Magic Elemental! (Based on HMM III image. He's the 6-th level creature there. ) The one at the top and the one to the left in a window. ) (No other pics available, I'm afraid. ) I hope you'll like him. ) Any comments, ladies and gentlemen? ) Edited October 21, 2009 by The Penguin

Professor Flitwick Posted November 9, 2009 Apologies for not commenting yet, I didn't noticed you updated this thread, else I would've posted sooner! I must say I love your wizard (espeacally his hood!) and the elf. It's hard to created LEGO creations that seem to house dignaty, but you did it beautifuly! P.s - Why's the Dwarf so sad? If I found that jem I'd be extactic!
ILikePi Posted November 11, 2009 Wow, those customs are looking great The Penguin! Is the whole Jedi hood piece for the wizard painted? If so, you did a really good job on the purple. I especially like the gold lining for the edges of the cape and hood. Who knew that purple and gold went together so well? The others are as good as ever, especially the unicorn! I can't wait to see more of your creations!

EDIT: When (if ever) will we be seeing your castle comic? Yep, thanks Shadows for the decal. ) A comic. Well, my latest Batman one is over, so I may start a new one. But unfortunately I'm a bit short on time right now. ) My current Castle MOC is now at a halt. Not to mention any ideas with comic-writing. ) But I already have a plot, so once I finish the current project at work and settle the problem with my insurance company, I'll start it. ) As usual Penguin you produce Stunning Custom Figs These are Amazing! WhiteFang Posted November 23, 2009 Why did I fail to notice this topic after so long? Heroes 3 is one of my all time favourite game, and I should have noticed that with the distinct title such as Erathia should have caught my attention much earlier. I am pretty excited to see all of your updates, and so far your customs are real solid. I like those Erathia footsoliders and the new Elf addition. It's very lovely and of course, mighty. Thanks for sharing it with us.
ADHO15 Posted November 23, 2009 More great work, Penguin! I saw the previous lot on Brickshelf before you posted them. I see you ventured into decals rather than painting them. You did a great job, but I still prefer you handiwork with a brush. The vampire lord is also very well done. You could use the head again for a Man-Bat figure! Keep it up. BlueBard Posted November 23, 2009 More wonderful work, The Penguin! The Erathia's men are great and the vampire is priceless, just as I remembered it form the game
