  1. A couple of years ago I made a small vignette with a tumbler jumping off a building, so today I decided to improve the idea with a diorama of the final part of the Tumbler chase from Batman Begins. Batman is trying to save Rachel and jump through the waterfall to enter the Batcave. Made for the Christopher Nolan contest over on RogueBricks You can find a few more pics on Flickr and a full behind the scenes video on YouTube:
  2. The comics, movies, and LEGO games all acknowledge that Batman keeps kryptonite in the Batcave -- just in case it is ever needed. We used this inspiration to build a kryptonite vault that will be inside of the Batcave. This is an exterior shot of the the Kryptonite Storage Vault located in the Batcave. The vault has a working door and internal locking mechanism. We made sure to line it in lead to keep it away from the prying eyes of Superman. This is an interior shot of the the Kryptonite Storage Vault located in the Batcave. There are multiple rows of kryptonite, some security devices, and a kryptonite spear too.
  3. Hopla ! After 2 years of work, here is finally the monumental underground headquarters of batman : The Batcave Here are photos of the batcave without the light effects I realized that there were several possible interpretations to determine Batcave's style. I decided to go for a rather classic version with a cave atmosphere! The base of the Batcave is on 2 plates of 48x48 but in the end, it is much bigger! It is about 1.70m long and I have added LEDs all over the building. We obviously find in this Batcave, the great classics of the Batman universe, the Batmobiles (different eras), the Bat-computer, the bat-armory, etc... and the supervillains of course! 4. It's been a while since I've posted here, as you will see I've been busy. Now I think this is the largest LEGO Batcave in the world, someone correct me if I'm wrong. It took about a year and a half on and off and I can only guess somewhere between 50-100k pieces used. I honestly have no idea what the final number might be. It stands at a little over 2 meters tall. The pic with me in it for reference (I'm 6'4) 0 by Brent Waller, on Flickr It features a Wayne Manor on top, moving suit conveyor and rotating carousel for batmobiles down the bottom, integrated lighting and a bunch of little vignettes on the sides featuring villains and scenes from the history of Bat-lore 45 by Brent Waller, on Flickr 99 by Brent Waller, on Flickr 9 by Brent Waller, on Flickr 26 by Brent Waller, on Flickr 12 by Brent Waller, on Flickr I've just posted a couple of pics as there's so many, If you want to see more check out the Flickr album I'd recommend checking out the video walkthrough, I intend on doing a full commentary tour at some point soon too.
  5. This is a WIP of a project I'm excited for.. So far,I've built a computer area, and driving strip for the Batcave.
  6. I've always thought the concept of Batman keeping memorabilia from past adventures on display in the Batcave interesting - maybe because I like collecting things too. Is it out of character for the Caped Crusader to showcase artifacts from his personal victories over deviant criminals? I suppose it depends on your iteration of the character. In any case, it's always fun to see the Batcave trophies show up in various comics and media. The most renowned trophies, the giant penny and mechanical dinosaur, are ultimately recurring Easter eggs from Batman comics of decades past. In this MOC, I went for a small, simplistic take on the Batcave's most famous trophies, plus some lesser-known additions that I found interesting (or that translated best into Lego). Most of the ones I chose are reference to specific ones from the comics, namely the mechanical dinosaur, the giant wheat penny, the giant joker playing card, Deathstroke's sword, Two-Face's original coin, and the Mad Monk's hood (plus references to the Penguin and Scarecrow). As a bonus, I snuck in my own take on the Whirly-Bat, which uses an inverted arch to make up the helicopter's body. I love how Lego incorporated this goofy Bat-vehicle in Lego Batman 2 and in an official set since then. I've tweaked this MOC a lot over the years and finally decided to share it. Please share your thoughts below!
  7. The Joker (Lego Batman Movie Version) and his super villain squad invade Batman's Batcave. Batman must form his own super hero squad from members of the Justice League to help ward off the threat! The trailer for an upcoming stopmotion animation I've been working on for the past two and a half weeks. I finished the final cut at around 7-8 yesterday and whipped up this small preview. I will be releasing this on my studio's YouTube channel (the same one you are watching the trailer on) on the 18th (Tuesday) so be sure to subscribe so you don't miss it! Thanks for watching!
  8. Batcave Invasion Batcave Invasion - YouTube The Joker (Lego Batman Movie Version) and his super villain squad invade Batman's Batcave. Batman must form his own super hero squad from members of the Justice League to help ward off the threat! I posted a trailer for this a few days ago, however this is the final release! I hope you enjoy it. If you liked it please subscribe and leave a comment! I will begin working on a new project in a few days. Thank you for watching
  9. My favorite Batman: Brave and the Bold episode is "Last Bat on Earth!". For the Best of Batman rebrick contest I decided to try to create a post-apocalyptic Batcave. I built a new ruined batmobile since I don't have one. I really like how the broken batcomputer came out. It's not entered into the contest yet. I'm debating whether I should do more or perhaps order some more bat figures since it is supposed to be home to humanoid bats.
  10. Greetings to all Lego builders, collectors and enthusiasts. A sad day approaches for Batman? His once loved Batcave and home that gave my son hours of enjoyment is now sitting dormant. Pushed to the back the queue left only in the wake of a PlayStation 4, teenage sleep overs and girls god help us? I just wanted to share this Batman Batcave MOC playset that I built for my son before it gets sold on in time for the new Lego Batman movie release. Many hours were put in to its construction and I believe I used over 11000 official Lego bricks. LED lights were constructed throughout the whole build and are wired through the flooring and walls. I incorporated an IPhone 4 into a purpose built Lego monitor case which can be easily removed. Pre-set radar and scanner sequences were loaded onto the phone that I designed on Sony Vegas Movie Studio to give the look that Batman really did have the top tech to hunt down those villains. As the phone is Wi-Fi enabled it’s comical to watch a young lad discussing with a Batman mini fig what Lego YouTube movies to watch in the actual Batcave? I do not want to break any rules and risk the post being taken down so any advice on the best way to sell the model would be appreciated? It will perhaps be listed on a very well-known auction site in the near future if I’m not allowed to on the forums. Just for now I want to share this once loved Lego MOC build with all the Lego fans on the forum and wish you all well in 2017. I would be more than happy to answer any questions? Here is the ink to the YouTube video for a wider range of pictures and movies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IofCQjgC_pQ Be Well Steve Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Lego Batman Batcave by Steve Webber, on Flickr Almost forgot, Vehicles going with the Moc when sold. 11. Recently modded control centre from the Batman and Superman vs Lex Luthor set from the Juniors range, including adding extra equipment, rotating chair, architectural details (finials etc), greebling and communications tech. Below a Ninjago vehicle modded quite some time ago including 'batmanning' it and giving it a jet ski.
  12. My latest Moc.....Wayne Manor/ The Batcave.
  13. Hi Guys, Just wanted share my Classic TV Series Batcave MOD. After buying the set I felt it lacked a few finishing touches. These have been well documented in various reviews of the set. The main thing i wanted to to was make the outside feel like a complete Wayne Manor and the inside more 'cave' like I went on ebay and bought the 'Wayne Manor' section that was on sale split from the set. There are lots of these for sale, i picked mine up for about £25.00 and this had the majority of parts needed to cover the middle section. Plus i now have a second Wayne Manor study to use as a mini vignette. anyway let me know what you think, my plan is to change the hinges holding the middle roof section on to dark bluish grey and build up more cave to improve the aesthetics above the atomic pile.
  14. Hello People :) After all this time I’m back with a new creation . The reason you haven’t seen anything for so long is because I went through a process of rethinking the way I build . I used to mainly recreate models from Star Wars or DC comics , with a sole purpose of making the MOC look as accurate to the original as possible , sacrificing stability , playability and overall good structure most of the time . I was no longer satisfied with that . From now on my goals are to build MOCs that both look good , and also are fun , playable , contain smart play features and generally function well as toys. The first result of this “new style” is what you see below : my own original Batmobile. While it draws inspiration from a couple of Batmobiles ( mainly Arkham Knight’s and BvS’s) it is my own spin on the classic vehicle , the Predator . It’s packed with action features : a stud shooter turret , a “hook” style spring-loaded shooter, opening trunk with all the gear you’ll need ( batarangs , a new remote batarang made from some old knight helmet feathers , extra ammo and a line launcher ) and the ability to transform between two modes , one ideal for battles and one built for speed. Also, the turret can be swapped out for a winch , which can be attached to the front spring loaded shooter and then shot - you can catch enemies’ vehicles , bring down walls , shoot it towards a roof and then climb , the possibilities are endless. I have also built a display MOC for my Batmobile - which is the first segment of what will eventually become a full Batcave . It has working lights and spins slowly - as a car turntable should. I would love to hear your thoughts and opinions on this . Do you like this new style of building ? Do you like the look of the car ? What about the functions ? Do you want to see a full Batcave ? Your comments are very important to me :)
  15. My boyfriend gave the lego batcave set 7783 for christmas and he took the whole thing apart so I could have the fun of building it. Big mistake on his part because I'm trying to build the flying batship thing its the third vehicle you build with the big black wings on it. Well when I get to the second step I don't get what to do! http://www.peeron.com/scans/7783-1 The directions are here on page 12 but I don't get what pieces I use in the second step can someone please lend me a hand?

  17. Not as extravagant as many Batcaves here, but I'm chuffed with the way it's turned out. Would have loved to have used the old Batcave, but had to settle with the new version. Very much inspired by BeKindRewind's MOC and includes a Tumbler I made based on Brett Waller's instructions. I altered the batcycle a little, removing the yellow wheels and pieces from it to look a bit cooler.
  18. I know you're propably sick of my batman mocs but sorry I had to make one more : D here's the batcopter, more pics after jump, enjoy! http://www.flickr.com/photos/90007636@N08/sets/72157633642154279/
