2015 Predator Supercar Full Article HERE Specs & Features - L x W x H (studs): 59 x 31 x 13 - # of parts: undisclosed at the moment (Anyone wants to take a guess?) - The heart of the car consists of a V8 engine; - A vertical positioned gearbox is located right behind the engine and transfers its power directly to the rear wheels; - the 6 different speeds (5+R) can be manually selected with the gearstick between the seats and has a one to one mechanical connection to the gearbox with some linkages; - All wheels are suspended independently with double wishbones; - The front wheels are steered through either steering wheel or HOG and include ackermann geometry; - Front axle also has positive caster angle and kingpin inclination. Bump steer is minimized due to the low location of the steering rod; - Gullwing doors which can be controlled from directly above the airintakes on the side and include a wormwheel configuration; - Bonnet and engine cover can be opened as well, but this is done manually and they have a built-in limitation of their respective opening angle. They stay open due to friction. Looks like Nate has some new teasers up for his new supercar design... No doubt this will be awesome..! Back when I started seriously getting into building some 15 years ago there was a guy named Jonathan Stephenson who had designed some really awesome Technic cars... Of course this was before everything had gone full studless... I know that many people here have probably never seen these models, so I would like to share them as they are amazingly well done... I don't know if he still builds or not as I haven't seen anything since these cars from 2000.. IMO they still hold up even with today's new full wave of parts... Corvette Mustang

Since my brother has started helping me with my supercars, he has wanted to get his own lego an build something original. Not copy anyone, just sit down and build without any guide, support or reference. I helped with the bodywork of this car, but the entire frame was created by my bro. This car features AWD, working steering wheel, custom door lock, working pistons on the V8, large 42000 wheels and independent suspension. Many features were torn completely apart to recreate. This is what happens when you have a dune buggy but want it to be a salt flat racer or even a dragster. Very fast and very durable, performs astonishing wheelies and looks as scary as a golden-toothed-and-cheap-sunglasses-skull-adorned racer could get. 42046 C-Model, uses 100% of the original set's parts and has those notable features: ► pull-back motor ► very fake V8 and exhausts behind the cockpit ► steering wheel, speedometer and floodlights + rear lights ► reinforced frame and balancing enabling it to perform wheelies (apologies for the photo quality, those were the best results I could get) EDIT: Here's the LDD file if someone's interested. Couldn't assemble the whole thing because of the usual LDD shenanigans, but it's kinda straightforward when you go those three pics. ^ Traditional 1929 Ford Model A-V8 hotrod on 1932 Ford deucerails build circa 1959, featuring fullhouse blown Mercury flathead with open headers, dual exhaust for streetuse, red tuck'n'roll vinyl upholstery, steelwheels painted red, skinny bias ply Firestone tyres up front, Firestone dirtrackers in the rear, Pontiac taillights, chopped windshield, clubplaque hanging from the spreaderbar. ;) ^ Loosly based on this car. ^ I got inspired by the cab-piece that came with the icecreamtruck or RV-camping and canoeingset. I thought that would be the perfect Ford Model A rearend: ^ I build it with a regular red interior, but really want it with ^this^ dark red to give it a more authentic look... I'm just missing a vital piece... And just for fun: ^ Meet Woody. Hey everyone, I've been working on this trial truck for 2 and 1/2 weeks now, and I am nearing completion. At first I wasn't going to make a WIP topic, but I need some advice for the cab design. So this is what I've been modeling mine after. My problem is the V8 engine, because the engine is too far back I had to make the cab longer as well. This totally throws off the proportions and makes the wheels look to small and the chassis too short. I also thought I would be able to make the cab in the new green and I have enough of the panels, but not enough liftarms. So I am open to color scheme suggestions. Just to let you know though, I could probably do it in Black, Red, Yellow, and possibly White with Blue. Here's what I have so far: As you can see I also have to accommodate for a tilting cab. It has full live axle suspension and an XL motor for drive and a Servo motor for steering. -

The frame with holes is 3-wide while the front section is 5-wide. The body is 7-wide but the interior is 4-wide and the bubble is 6-wide. There's also some SNOT design, for example the mismatching headlights, V8-engines, side panels, rear lights and top hinges. And as in the many recent creations there's no visible studs. It is also kind of "modular" as seen in the picture. This was fun to build and The Mysterion is also so far my most advanced creation. G'day all. So last week I decided to enter the Lego Porsche contest with this idea of a dream Porsche car. In Australia we have a racing category called V8 Supercars and since I follow this series and a masive Holden fan I thought well Porsche should race a car as well and that became my dream Porsche, a Porsche V8 Supercar. The car will be made in 2 parts, chassis and body.Overall size when finished- 570mm x 230mm x 170mm. My aim was to create a realistic car with roll cage and stuff but to have the body separate so that I can create other car brands to go over the chassis since in the race series the run a control chassis. If there is time Ill add front and rear independent adjustable sway bars. The chassis functions are: 4 wheel Independent suspension. 4 wheel disk brakes that work through the brake peddle. camber and steering geometry. 4 spd sequential gearbox. working clutch through the clutch peddle. This is a bit of an older MOC I did last Halloween - (it's long scrapped now) but I thought I'd share this here as well - especially for those with a small taste of the macabre. Just after building Lego's Vampyre Hearse, a new, slightly-morbid-yet-cool idea spawned in my mind; what if I build a bigger, RC version of this? At first, I wasn't quite sure what it'll end up looking like, since I couldn't figure out what to model it after - a Cadillac? a Rolls-Royce? a Lincoln? - so, I went with all three - sort of, lol. Hearse Front by Octav_spot, on Flickr What's interesting is that the headlamps are actually yellow elements, but mixed together with the blue from the LED's, it came out green. I liked the look so much, I kept it as is. Hearse Rear by Octav_spot, on Flickr The side-lamps idea came to me in the last moment - I wish I'd of made them look closer to actual lanterns (since that's what original hearse carriages had.) To my surprise, the light came out looking almost purple, which seemed strikingly accurate.
