    I find it strange that a non Moderator would change the title and move the thread where it doesn't belong, Guess Lego wants the rumours to calm down a bit! A german store manager actually told me that a place holder in the database actually says (Werkstadt) which was last year's set. and another source who never reveals anything ever told me it would be the toyshop, So i'm pretty sure all of this info is just a place holder for the real set! which info should be released this weekend! Hope the title (Winter Village Sets - Rumours and Discussion) will be put back!

    My favourite is the ATSF super chief in the warbonnet look, and it can be done like the real train! I bought mine way back in 2002-2003 when cars cost my brother who used to work for Lego only €16.95. now the whole train would cost a fortune........... Rendering © James Mathis

    I started reading this thread last night, and then it got me thinking that I might have this set in my archive. So I hade a look in my basement and found that I actually have two of these sets still completely sealed. I guess i'll have to build them one day..........

    Was at the local store today too, still had some and bought 5, almost everybody waiting at the cash register was buying the set, S@H is already listing it as sold out available again on the 16th. must be a must have set, with those rare bricks........... Sadly no picture of the next set printed on the back off the instructions. :-(

    I guess the christmas pick-a-brick box has also been killed, used to get one with €55 purchase now no more. I got 24 last year and it took me 6 trips to the store to fill them all. Guess TLG doesn't need to do much promotion anymore, thats ok I have taken up more expensive hobbies anyway!

    Other then Market Street all Modulars use classic faces! I think its great!

    Excellent! I will place this between PC and FB, So I think next year will be a police station corner building? I'm really hoping for a VIP before x-mas release but some how I doubt Lego will be so kind!? Nice detailing on the sidewalk as well.

    Actually I think this set will make a great train station for those people who where lucky enough to buy the Holiday Train in 2006/7 you just leave Santa and the elves out! and add some Minifigures for the train and station.

    Nice set, Thank god I started with the train about 7 years ago. Haven't missed one since.

    I also really like the bakery, although the cottage is a great set as well. I wish they would re release the holiday train again!
