Lego Mixels 2014 Set and Media Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to Devorath's topic in LEGO Licensed
It appears to be a new show LEGO is developing. Since this is already being discussed in Special Themes, I'm going to go ahead and lock this one. -
I've moved this to Culture and Multimedia. You're welcome.

That is unfortunate, friend Throlar. It is a family thing? Cronk can understand having to take responsibilty for sake of others. It is what family is supposed to do. Job does not preclude hobbies, though. Throlar could take up stamp collecting or something. Cronk recently began having music as hobby. Cronk finds playing music very relaxing after a long day of bashing evil.
-
Perhaps it is time to change line of work? Maybe friend dwarf would be better at something else... Has Throlar ever tried cooking? Cronk hears that it is good hobby at least. Fishing is supposed to be relaxing as well. Though in Cronk's experience, fisherman is more likely to be attacked by fish than not. Cronk knew a being once. A professional juggler. Never made much gold but friend was happiest being Cronk ever knew.

LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 11 Rumours & Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to CM4Sci's topic in Special LEGO Themes
I think my favorite is the scarecrow but the elf and the yeti are close. Definitely the series to have for christmas displays. My least favorite is the female robot. I don't get how it made it through the design phase. Strikes me as odd and creepy. -
Cronk apologizes. Hall is abnormally loud today and Cronk must have misheard. Duty is an honorable cage to imprison oneself. Does Throlar enjoy being ambassador?
-
Did you do any investigative work? It's made out of PEOPLE!!!

If there is somewhere dwarf want to go, why can't dwarf go there? What is holding Duvors back? Cronk wishes Cronk knew where Cronk wanted to go. Some beings are meant to wander, Cronk thinks. Even now, if Cronk were completely free to go where Cronk might long to be, Cronk is not sure Cronk would enjoy being there. Beings change, places change. Perhaps memories are all a being may rely on.

Super Heroes 2014 Rumors & Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to just2good's topic in LEGO Licensed
That'd be an awfully expensive way to upgrade Flash. Might even be cheaper to get one of the custom printing websites to make the boots for you. Especially if you get several friends to split the set-up costs. You'd also be able to better match the style with Flash. I'm still hoping he'll already come with boots. Call me an optimist.- 9,756 replies

Heroica RPG - Quest Masters' Lounge
CorneliusMurdock replied to Sandy's topic in The Heroica Archive
WBD, I've wanted to go on one of your quests since I read your first one. And you did not disappoint with this quest. I loved the puzzles. Except for the maze one, they always came up at times that I couldn't devote the brainpower to solve them. But I loved them anyway. They all fit into the story seamlessly and were challenging but not impossible. Your characters were excellent. I was truly excited every time we knocked on a new door just to see who we would meet next. You even managed to create a very memorable door to insult Cronk. I absolutely loved that scene. I enjoyed letting Cronk interact with everyone. My only wish is that I wouldn't have been so busy during this quest. Life really gets in the way sometimes. -
It always nice when a being can expand horizon and make new friends. Cronk has met many new friends questing. Cronk finds making friends almost as rewarding as bashing evil. Ha! Cronk finds that world is very big place. Plenty of new friends to meet and evil to bash. Cronk is very careful to remember which is which, though.
-
Cronk has never had luck with formal things. Cronk's name is Cronk. Cronk was born in Goblonia.
-
Um... Hello. The common language spoken here is fine by Cronk. Cronk would hate for any being to feel left out.
-
Cronk passes the other heroes at the entryway, nodding courteously. He opens the door easily not realizing it still had some ice on it and then enters the hall. He sits down at the bar. Hello, Scheherazade. Cronk would like a roast chicken and a buttermilk, please. Oh, and an apple for Cronk's wolpertinger.
-
Thanks for the wolpertinger, WBD! You're much nicer than Zepher. He tries to kill off anything cute and fuzzy that Cronk gets attached to.

Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
CorneliusMurdock replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
OoC: I did think we might have missed something but I didn't have time to figure it out. I'm fine with moving on. Hello, friend Altair! Cronk was just coming to see friend. Whole party of friends here worked together to find wolpertinger. Here is little guy. Cronk hopes Altairs neice takes good care of wolpertinger. Um, friend Altair, is there a way Cronk could look into getting wolpertinger of Cronk's own? -
Actually, let's keep the discussion in a single thread.

Lego Superheroes 2013 Rumours & Discussion
CorneliusMurdock replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
A green hat for Riddler is nice, though. I'll definitely get it for Flash. The thing to remember is that these are normally preliminary models. The figure accessories may be stand-ins so that banana may represent the cane. -
So, I'm finally getting around to posting this. I apologize in advance for the lousy photography. I'm still learning. This was a project I had in mind for about a year. I did research into Technic-y things, bought some motors and gears, and after some trial and error (lots of error), this was the result. I brought it to Brickworld Chicago this year and it was nominated for Best Train. It was up against some really spectacular serious trains and didn't win, though. The train by itself. In it's natural habitat, a carnival! I also have Video of it working on my Flickr! It's a popular ride. Someone you might recognize wishes he were big while playing the Zoltar machine. Aw, man... Here's the gearing inside. It was suggested that I grease the track after the first public display day at BW. Too much friction had caused the worm gear to eat through the side of the gearbox. Greased, the train ran more smoothly and quietly (it was quite squeaky before). I hope you enjoyed it.

Heroica RPG - Quest #65: Breaking Down the Door
CorneliusMurdock replied to Waterbrick Down's topic in The Heroica Archive
Noise was merely a dragon breaking off roof of inn. Nothing to worry about. Ha! Mr. Greely says that ghost problem that ghost hunters were hired to rid inn of has stopped. Friends did not encounter evil spirit during time at inn either. Friends would like to help friendly ghosts, perhaps ghosts could describe evil spirit a little. Did spirit inhabit furniture, maybe?
