  1. Yes, please. Regardless of how popular the series may be right now, the Simpsons line is happening. Perhaps it isn't a constructive (pun intended) part of conversation to debate viability any longer. Unless one of you guys can fire up the way-back machine to release these 20 years ago, the point is moot.
  2. Cause it sucks. Whoops, was that out loud? I mean, um... Yes, a shame. A travesty, really. Yes.... wisdom.
  3. Considering the topic is two years old (Happy Birthday MOC thread! Sorry about not getting you a card...), probably not. Please check the date on threads before posting in them.
  4. It's not just unorthodox, it's against site policy. We are not a billboard for Cuusoo projects. This wouldn't even be the right part of the forum even if we were.
  5. And the "winner" is..... Clone O'Patra! He is now my official minion sidekick! Hooray!
  6. Stop this behavior now. Posting like this will not make pictures appear any faster.
  7. The retailer catalog pictures are almost always confidential and if they get directly posted here, will be removed. They'll eventually get leaked somewhere else, though. It's impossible for anything to stay truly confidential when catalogs are sent to that many potential leakers.
  8. Since this project hasn't passed review this doesn't technically belong in Licensed. I'll move it. That being said, I would love for this to become a reality. Even if it was just Ecto-1, I wouldn't hesitate to pick one up. I think this one will just come down to whether they can get the license. I think it has as much potential if not more than BTTF to be a best seller.
  9. This discussion could happen in the Future SH set ideas thread or the 2014 SH thread, so I don't see the need for a separate thread.
  10. Each theme under the Disney "umbrella" are treated as separate entities. Just because we've got Pooh doesn't mean we'll get Aladdin for example. I've merged your thread here because of that.
  11. Let's stop -ing and stay on topic, please.
  12. Huh. I didn't realize Bricklink had that sort of thing. You learn something new every day. That does seem a bit pricey but if it's not available elsewhere...
  13. This is the wrong place for such a question. I tried doing a quick search on Ebay and Amazon but couldn't find what you described. I think your best bet is probably contacting TLG's customer service and asking if they might know where to find some. It's possible that they could still be available in a few of the stores or the Legoland shops. As a fellow parent, I feel for you. Just this once, I'll move the topic to the BSTF forum. Maybe someone will have a better idea there.
  14. We'll have to wait and see what fun we can have after we know more about the theme. I'd love to run a contest for it but until we know when the theme is going to be released and what exactly we're getting, it's sort of hard to plan for it yet.
  15. It all depends on the sets as to how they appeal to children. Or, really, to most of us AFOLs. If we get accurate sets based on fan favorite locations, it'll at least be successful to fans of the show. If they can manage to appeal to city builders with interesting builds and pieces like Lone Ranger did for Western fans, they'll do that much better.
  16. Since there has been confirmation, I'll change the title of this thread and it'll be the official discussion topic for the theme. I'm cautiously optimistic about this theme. Time will tell if there's a market for it and if not, we'll at least get a few sets out of the deal.
  17. Oh, another lottery. Cronk hopes that Cronk wins something this time... Cronk scrawls his name on the parchment and hands it in.
  18. It used to be that nothing ever got deleted, even spam. It was merely moved. One of the recent upgrades changed the spam flagging system and made keeping spam topics impossible so now they get deleted. Regular topics aren't ever deleted. They either slowly drift down the active topics list into relative oblivion or, if they needed to be removed from public record, they were moved to a trash forum.
  19. Another great review Fangy! The distribution is indeed disappointing. I don't really army build a lot but I know I have to get two scarecrows. And what is anyone going to do with only one Blues Brother? I hate to take all of a figure at a store. Just doesn't seem right. I can see maybe an army of yetis in a special circumstance but who needs six mountain climbers? After seeing the pictures, the scarecrow is still my favorite. I love his little button eyes and stitched smile. I hope we get the hat in other colors/prints in the future. Might have fit the jazz musician a little better than the fedora in black. The gingerbread man's head looks more like an Oreo from the side. Why did they do that? Otherwise an excellent figure. I'll have to get two constables. Now if they'd only make a criminal with one of those little striped caps... The grandmother is perfect for what it is. The welder would have been better if the mask attached to the hockey/football helmet or even a completely new peice.
  20. I like the shield change. It makes becoming a shield-bearing class more useful but doesn't make them invincible. I think it makes a lot of sense from a roleplay perspective as well since with knights actively protecting themselves.
  21. I just finished one, yes, but I still need one more quest's worth of rep for Minstrel.
  22. Forget Shadeux rep. More Hinckwell rep, please.
  23. Cronk wil be "bothering" with an expert class just as soon as he gets one more level of Hinckwell rep. WBD, go cannoneer! Skrall using an actual cannon would be awesome.
  24. Sheepeater, I'd like to ask you to not use the term "retarded" to refer to something that is "stupid". There are a myriad of words that better describe stupidity that don't offend people.
