    Actually someone is attacking me. And I'm pretty sure that once I drop my guard, a few others will take the oppurtunity to join in. Who suggested the plan that had an abysmal chance of actually clearing me? The one that wants me dead.

    It's not a matter of the gold. As I said, it's about protecting myself. Besides, you remember how I said that I only have a 50% chance of protecting myself, well that would apply to attacking as well. It'd be a coin flip if it would clear me anyway. You can bet that Calico would jump all over it if my attack went through.

    I protected Retak the first day because she had the magnifying glass. It was in our best interest to keep it from getting into the evil's hands. There was no way to know her affiliation then. The plan, at the time, seemed sound. And I thought I was being accused of shooting Calico with the handcannon I don't have that day. They can't suspect me for doing both when I can't have done both at the same time. Calico is relevant because she and her friends (a suspiciously close-knit group) have been the ones accusing me. If it was simply between myself and Cappriccia, I would think my word would have as much weight as hers. Instead, I'm guilty until proven innocent and she's innocent until proven guilty.

    I never said that they inended to attack me last night. I'm merely trying to guess at their intentions. It could be that their plan was to take care of me at a later date and they moved that up because of what I said today. I challenge you, Werther, to look back and see where anyone accused me before. It was done once, and then dropped. Once I spoke against their mage-killing plan, then I was their greatest suspect. I expected more of you, Werther. Confusing me does give them a 50% chance that protecting myself won't work. The remaining chance is all that prevents them from trying to take me out today. I refuse to drop my defenses right now, especially when the person that suggested it is the very one I trust the least right now.

    And lose my 50% chance of protecting myself? That's exactly what you want. Maybe that's why you had it done in the first place, to make attacking me possible while I was protecting myself. I'm a threat to you, obviously, because I'm not in your pocket like Brienne. Notice, friends, that Calico and Co. did not really bring me up as a suspect until I spoke out against them.

    You think so? If we'd even taken down a scum or two already, it might make more sense. It seems like doing it now would only advantage the scum. If it's something you'd really like to try though, perhaps we should vote on that as well?

    Werther, they would have had no control over who the random person I protected would be. Yes, protecting Shadir disrupted their plans, but they didn't know that I'd be switched to him when they confused me. It could even be that they thought I might be protecting him (I don't know why) and in a twist of irony, they screwed up by making me protect him instead of me. I must have missed where she mentioned not doing anything. Seriously? Didn't anyone you know need healing? How many of us are wasting our gifts by doing absolutely nothing at night? Okay, maybe it wasn't even part of a grand plan. Maybe Capriccia just wanted to try out her scroll last night. I don't know. All I know is that I was protecting myself last night when she hit me with a confusion spell. I do suspect that she's in league with the others simply because of how they react to things and don't seem to care that she basically doesn't have an alibi for last night. And they're not willing to admit that the possibility that they're wrong about me.

    Doggy, you're on to something with me? I don't recall you saying anything about me until I was brought up as an alternative to lynching you. And Person A is only suspicious because Kris suspects them of passing information about their conversation to you. If you're not scum, you'd have no logical reason to suspect them. But you'd rather anyone go down than you. I don't know what to say to you, dad. You're misinterpreting my behavior. You seem like a smart guy and I'd like to ask you at least think about alternative explanations about why I may not be playing exactly like some other recent situations.

    And what was she doing last night?! You guys aren't curious? She doesn't have a ranged attack nor does she have the ability to cast attack spells. If she did anything besides cast confusion on me, somebody else would know. Can anyone vouch for her? I know you're not willing to take my word for it. Why are you willing to accept hers without any misgivings? I still think you're scum and she's with you on it. I implore my fellow loyal Heroicans to at least perform due diligence before making a decision.

    I never claimed to not know. I just didn't push out her name the second the day started. I was hoping she might come to me and explain herself. And I got nothing. She had a long enough time to confer with partners before "defending" herself publicly. It's totally unsurprising that you just believe her without any proof either. She just pops in and says "didn't do it", and that's all you need, huh? No more questions asked. Not trying very hard to find the truth are you? Why would I make up such a wild lie? It would be easily verifiable if she did anything else. But because I'm not with the supposed "town core", I'm not given any benefit of the doubt. And you have absolutely no evidence whatsoever about me. You can't because said evidence doesn't exist. I have no doubt in my mind at all that she's evil.

    What more would you like from me, everyone? Maybe I shouldn't have showed up to that family dinner, but sometimes things happen that you can't plan for. Sometimes they're even as bad as your best friend falling into a nuclear reactor. I honestly believed Shane to be scummy. A fair number of you admitted that you found him to be so as well. Sorry, wasn't finished... I gave you my suspicions. I plan to vote for Dogface today. I believe Kristina's story. If you guys would rather meta-game me than follow up a decent lead, go for it.

    First, let me say that, yes, I realize that my contributions have been spotty in the last couple time periods. It was beyond my control. Sometimes they don't let me out of that rubber room and it takes me a while to escape. I promise to practice picking that particular lock and contribute more. My top suspects (besides the ostrich [stop looking at me, damn it!]): 1 Dog-face Doggy Dog- Because of Kristina's information leak. Best lead we've had so far. 2 Cap'n Rolfe- a fashion nightmare. Vocal but pointing in the wrong direction mostly. 3 the Cop Talbott- Get a haircut, hippy! Just a feeling but I was wrong about Shane before, so.... But really, I think it's either Doggy or the Ostrich we should lynch today.

    I like how you both flat out deny knowing about the confusion spell. If Capriccia didn't do it under your orders, why wouldn't she have tried it on your buddy Brienne instead of myself. Certainly Brienne was more likely to be protecting someone "important"? Whomever the cleric is working for apparently didn't want you dead, Calico. They wanted whomever they assumed I was protecting.

    I didn't say she was the one who cast it, I'm saying it was done with her knowledge. Yours, too. I'm not sure if you actually conned the person who did it into it, or if they are one of you as well. I'll get back to you with that. I have to close my eyes and think for a while. This all happened so suddenly.

    I can't help who I randomly protected when confused. You knew I would be. And you didn't answer my questions. There aren't many of us left that can protect others. Brienne is obviously with you. Who did you think I would be protecting that you wanted dead? I'm guessing it was someone that the Minstrel here protected or they'd be dead.

Why don't you let everyone in on whatever you allude to? Or are you just hoping that some people will assume you actually know something and go after me?

    I get it. All you have is my word. That means something to my people but I understand that halflings know no honor. I've told you all that I can. You have no proof against me other than your theory about me not being shown in the conclusion. It's not proof. People were shown doing other things without targeting anyone. People made bomb, mixtures. What really started this, though, was me coming out against your "kill everyone" plan. Let's not forget the timing here. You steal from people, you kill people, you've encouraged others to kill people. I've protected people. Mostly myself, I'll admit. I trust myself the most and unlike you, I don't have a pre-made team to protect me.
