The crab droid was an improvement on an old design from way back. Tried to come as close as possible to the original designs but had to put my own spin on some parts due to structural issues. Very time-consuming and very fragile as well. This is one that would not travel well so don't expect it to show up in any cons at all. AC PS. Bonus close-up pic added of the meet and greet!

Originally planned to have the rockwork around it so that it looks like it was jutting out of the sinkhole. But with the deadline looming and not much time to build since I'm in training mode for the NY Marathon, the landing platform will have to do for now. Who knows, maybe I'll revisit it in the future and complete those too! Just a couple more days and my stockpile is really getting low on tan/dark tan! AC

One more week to go. Definitely it will get done by next week so be sure to drop by then. Not as substantial as I would have liked it to be, but the end of the month is the deadline so the main scene will be done. Tiling of the platform has been done, so the painstaking part of putting the skeletal frame on the supports has begun. AC

Next up is the platform to support it and additional interior frames would be needed to prop it up as it is too heavy on its own. Posted September 14 I gotta start somewhere! Found it! Lucky enough to get the conquistadors early! I also didn't plan on getting that many actors but after I opened one, I knew I had to get more of them. Already got another MOC with the conquistadors in the works! AC

Those are just three CMFs (musketeer, conquistador, actor). When I saw that the conquitadors were next on CMF S8 to be released, I've been planning on having them as opponents to the musketeers. AC
