    Really! After I've already said not to mention it? Plus we'd like to do something for this outside our comfort zones. Yeah right you are for choosing Cloud City. I would've thought by now that you've been finished with your own MOC of it. AC PS. This is NOT another diorama community build, the alternate builds for SW sets looks promising but probably even better if non-SW sets are used to make SW sets! Let's NOT get bogged down by the timeline scene specific builds, better if they encompass all SW. Crossing themes is something that we can get other members outside of LSW to join in.

    So we've gone through the whole gamut of community builds from the movies and then some. Now it's time to take on new challenges, let's all hear what new ideas/concepts that we can build MOCs about. Remember this is NOT a contest, just another way of building MOCs together. What say you? AC PS. Please don't mention Steampunk or ugly ships(mish-mash of Rebel/Imperial ships) as those have been done before.

    I'm doing volunteer work for the master builder event on June 22 Saturday in the morning. Anybody else planning to go there for the Lego store set? AC

    They're free so I didn't buy them and were shipped from Billund Denmark. I don't really go into this rating thing and that's why I failed the RA! AC

    Sorry I can't divulge the details of how I got this set and two others (JEK and AT-TE) shipped from Billund Denmark. But I guarrantee that everything is legal. AC

    The concept for this set is nothing new as myself and other MOCers have done ewok villages in the past. That rope bridge is similar to the one I did back in April 2010. AC

    The grand opening for the Lego store in NJ Freehold scheduled for June 21-23 has the Hulk Lego Master Builder event. Similar freebies (T-shirt $50, store set $75, minifig set $50) from other store openings will be available on those days with the purchase price indicated. The store soft opening I've heard will be a week earlier but the freebies are only available during the grand opening dates. I will most likely be there on Saturday June 22 in the morning. AC

    That blue&white is my wife's collection and I've opened up the 75017 so go see them in the other thread. AC Not yet in retail stores until first week of June (in a few days). AC

    I was fortunate enough to get a free advance copy of the set 75017 Duel on Geonosis and wanted to share the pics. This is not a review as I'll leave that to the RA experts whom I'm sure will get their hands on this set later on. Enjoy the pics with no commercial interruption! AC

    It starts with good reference material and details that add to the overall atmosphere. Keen eye KD on spotting the second pic as that's the one in the lot that I've chosen to convey the storyline of the scene. OT, have you heard of PhLUG on FB as I've recently just joined the group of fellow Pinoy LUGers. After having brought out my works in public showing last year, I've found it a more gratifying experience to get acknowledged by the harshest critics who've watched the CW episodes. Yes, the kids truly give you honest opinions about the works and appreciate all the details put in the MOCs. I hope you've given the site a thorough visit and have shown them the other stuff which I think they'll also enjoy viewing. AC

    Got time to build more! Very observant on the backgrounds and you're right about that. I just wish there were far larger posters for my bigger MOCs. Anytime there's an episode where BDs get blasted away is always a good one! I've always tried to let the minifigs tell the story even without reading the storyline... Went through some of the screen caps for the episode as reference for this scene. Shhhh, they're still asleep. AC

    Sometimes the simplest solution is the best! More to come later... That's just for starters! It better be or I won't hear the end of it... It's on a large baseplate with several levels. AC
