[Wargaming Factions] Latest update: Redcoats vs Bluecoats Battlefield
ACPin replied to ACPin's topic in Pirate MOCs
I've seen pics during the same era where the Italian army used similar armor and so did the Swiss Vatican Guards. Somebody on Flickr pointed that site to me. I probably should but I'm waiting on the LR cavalry sets to go on sale. AC -

I'd be willing to swap my prize B, if you're interested. Did everybody in the contest just win with the bonus? Thanks so much CopMike! AC

I'm also on page 9 but it doesn't bother me one bit. It's a giveaway so calm down and just be happy for those that have won. AC

[Wargaming Factions] Latest update: Redcoats vs Bluecoats Battlefield
ACPin replied to ACPin's topic in Pirate MOCs
Those are probably the regular gaming boards but I plan on building terrain-like diorama using Lego to accomodate the troop movements. I'll be updating this topic as the plan progresses and the Bluecoats have been added. AC -
[Wargaming Factions] Latest update: Redcoats vs Bluecoats Battlefield
ACPin replied to ACPin's topic in Pirate MOCs
Thanks for you comments and insights! I was planning on doing on a smaller scale (2x4 large 48x48 studs or 3x6 regular 32x32 studs baseplates) for an upcoming show. Not really to be played per se, but more to have the pieces be moved so it's not a static display. It will take out some of the boredom during breaks in the show when there's no traffic plus those who come back for a second go around would get a little surprise. AC -
[pid][/pid] 242B The whole battle scene was assembled the first time only at the show. Twenty four 32x32 green baseplates (3deep x 8wide) footprint. Redcoats battle formation Bluecoats battle formation Italians joining the party! The French are coming! Has anybody seriously considered using minifigs for wargaming? And does anybody have links for terrain boards, dioramas and large scale armies that have been done? AC

Past couple of months haul bought on discounts (20% up to 50%) at various US retail stores (including Lego stores)! Happy Holidays! AC

NJGardenSLUG wiil have a display booth on Jan 4-5, 2014 at the Greenberg Train & Toy Show Somerset NJ. Your chance to see in person as I'll have a 2x4 large baseplate MOC in it together with the other members' MOCs. Drop on by if you're in the area. AC PS. If I don't finish the new MOC, I would bring this instead since it has almost the same footprint.

You'll both just have to wait and see the completed MOC for that. AC

Thanks all for your C&Cs! Just be happy for now with this! Sorry, not for sale though you're more than halfway through with the parts if you've got a UCS Batmobile. AC

The Nazgul mounted on a hideous flying beast watches over the vast expanse of darkness in Mordor! The fell beast has been upgraded from the previous version with a wider wing span and smoothed out the transition for the neck and the tail into the body. AC

They were only available at the Lego stores free with a $50 SW purchase. Though TRU has them online right now free with a $75 SW purchase. AC

TRU is at it again putting out sets before their sell date, I didn't buy one since I don't collect Batman. No other sets in the series were available yet but that might change since they're continually getting stocks for the holiday season. AC
