  1. And I was beginning to wonder whether you've stopped your UCS TIE projects. Welcome back! AC
  2. Sorry not at the moment, still waiting on parts. AC PS. I do have another non-Sw project that's keeping me busy.
  3. Got the email about it as most VIPs in the US too! AC
  4. Thanks all for your C&Cs! Instead of creating another thread for this series of vignettes, I've decided to keep them in this thread since they'll show the various phases of construction for the old colonial house. Now it's Abe's turn. AC
  5. Don't sweat on it and if you actually just look up front they look quite similar. Only when you look at an angle that the difference shows. AC PS. Second floor done, added pics for exterior and interior.
  6. I'm definitely sure my solution is different from his. AC
  7. Time to call in the interior designer(?) Abe's Cribs Emmet on the job Get a grip on it people! I don't know why some get all worked up when somebody comes up with an unusual design/technique. Then try to one-up by doing the same thing and claim they did it first or that somebody has already done it and accuse you that you're a copycat. First of all, these are common bricks that can be put together in so many different ways that it's bound to happen that different people can come up with a design/technique that are similar. Second, the end result might be the same but the solution could be different. Third, I lay claim that anybody who does this design/technique is a copycat! AC
  8. Actually less than an hour only because I was talking to the other customers doing the same thing and teaching them how to get more bricks in their boxes! AC
  9. These are the little eagles that I bought a box of 50 for $0.48 a piece ($24 total). AC
  10. That's correct. Does it have windows in between the walls? Looking at the photostream, it looks like the same technique except for the window placement. AC PS. Just added another pic of the first floor.
  11. Now on display at the Lego store until mid-April at the Jersey Gardens Mall. Back & Interior pics added. Forgot to mention that pics are also available in color and black&white. The colonial town hall was the focal point of the community where all of the town's residents could discuss local issues, conduct religious worship, and engage in town business. Since it was going to take a lot more time to set the scene for the interior shots, the exterior shots will do for now. AC Preliminary pics have been taken. Second floor done. First floor exterior done. Haven't done a city/town MOC in a long time and here's an impulse build last night to try out if it will work. Anybody else tried this technique before? AC
  12. Found them underneath the pile of little eagles and that's the last of them. AC
  13. Don't fret on it and thanks for the compliments. I'll post updates on this thread as the build progresses. AC
  14. Slated for release May 4th, 2014! AC
  15. This will take some time before the final MOC is done as I'm doing prototypes/samples of the various parts/pieces that will complete the scene. How is that even possible? Oh, I see you're newbie here and I haven't done anything SW since you've joined. Feel free to peruse my previous MOCs and then let me know what you think about them. Still a WIP. I know what you mean but you still have to wait like everybody else. AC
  16. Another show completed and pics posted in the Pirates MOCs forum. AC
  17. The snowstorm has passed and the show is still on for this weekend. See you there! AC
  18. Updated with pic for the show on the Bluecoats. AC
  19. The fourth one is holding it. This is what I thought about doing the first time I saw that figure. Agreed! AC
  20. Happy New Year! Back to building SW and here's a current work-in-progress pic of my next project. AC
  21. Who had the best catch? AC
  22. That's just a Technic ball joint where the hand fits in the hole. AC
