That Hailfire doesn't actually look too bad... The Ventress figure might be the reason for me to make my first non-OT set.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Robianco replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
Ant Man helmet, Daredevil helmet and Quicksilver hair are the ONLY reasons to pick that up! -
This isn't exactly a lucky find as I was too late to get it... But it was certainly someone's lucky find. I was checking how much Juno Eclipse figures had sold for recently and a couple of weeks ago one sold for £2.99... But it was just her head... On Galen Marek's body. I love it when people don't know what they've got.

Brickin It Custom review: The Destructor

That's a nice figure! I like the price too... Especially as it's pad printed. I'll probably wait for Vince to save on combined shipping to the UK. -
Marvel Superheroes 2015 Rumors & Discussion
Robianco replied to CorneliusMurdock's topic in LEGO Licensed
With the exception of the Death Star and the Ewok Village which are both location sets there's hasn't been a huge amount of figures in UCS vehicle sets... Even those aimed at being minifig scale or at least decent sized system sets. 21 minifigures in total across the Millennium Falcon, Super Star Destroyer, Red Five, B-Wing, Sandcrawler and the upcoming Slave One. Only 2 extra if you include the Tumbler... with only a couple more if you include Orthanc (give or take a few droids and a moulded Eagle). I think the hopes of 20+ minifigures with one Hellicarrier might be pushing it. -
The Advanced would be beautiful to sit alongside Red Five!

Don't forget Nelson's Baseball bat too! I just sold my 2 spare ZEA figures with capes and bats for more than the whole 3 sets cost me including EMS shipping! Nice to end up with things for nothing :) -

Is that Darth Revan in the Wheelbike set? They also don't show several of their sets here including the Young Justice or FF set. We only got half of that SWAT set also before we even mention the Bats sets with ZEA and Batman Begins in. -
I'd be happy with that timeline! I'll keep my fingers crossed the AT-AT is somewhere just after that for you... along with Cloud City! ;)

As with all of the mini rigs you've created I love it. This one especially though... and it's great that you've managed to make room for a second pilot in there too!

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

Isn't that how he looks in the game? I was under the impression that all these designs are taken from the games... even the facial expressions of the regular figures are taken from there. -

It's not surprising there'd be a lull after we have most of the set images revealed and discussed... Once we get the images for the Azure Angel and the Hailfire I'm sure there'll be a flurry of activity again!

I'll upload them if I get a chance later on tonight... if not it will be in the morning (UK time). -
Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

I've done that with flesh ears for Namor and red ears for Azazel over a black thin base coat to make the hair black... then just give a thin coat of clear acrylic spray to seal it. Really happy with both of them. -
I'd not read A New Dawn so I wasn't aware of the timing and where exactly Rebels takes place. Interesting that they've made Ezra the same age as Leia and Luke are (although I'm assuming Luke will remain hidden on Tatooine) with the Tantive IV making regular appearances. I'm assuming then that Rebels is only set around 5 or so years before A New Hope? That would make me think that Bail is aware of several rebellious factions and looking to organise them in some way... maybe his interest in this group is down to intel that there is a Jedi amongst them. If they're keeping any kind of realistic timeline the Rebel Alliance that attacked the Death Star looked to have been organised for several years with the existence of at least 2 bases (Dantooine and Yavin) and the fleet of fighters they have. I always thought that Biggs appearing with the cloak looked a bit silly as he was the only one wearing one in those comics (I think?).

Fantastic Beasts & Where To Find Them Film Discussion
Robianco replied to Robert8's topic in Culture & Multimedia
I seem to remember the book was a little thin thing released as part of her commitment to Comic Relief along with Quidditch Through The Ages. As both books were just listings these will be totally new content and a great way for us to see more of the wizarding world and as it's only 70 years before Harry I'm sure there'll be appearances of many of the older Hogwarts teachers. I wouldn't be the least bit surprised that Newt's adventures took him over a long period of research almost up until a certain Tom Riddle made his way to Hogwarts. I know the book seemed to have a longer shelf life in the original HP books but you never know what things they'll retcon into these. -
Give it a month or so and Brickforge or someone similar will have a nice new mould for it. That's where my Fett carbine, Gaffi stick and Jawa Ion Blaster come from.

I really like it. My pedantry wants to say that it should be Wedge with the harpoon and cable round the legs with an orange detailed Snowspeeder! Ignore that though... it looks great. I've only just got round to building mine after owning it for months so it's well timed! ;)

Oh well... I see that I've now been on EB for a year and wondered if I was eligible for one of these nifty tag thingies?

I watch the second episode last night and I must admit that the whole scene with Zeb and the Stormtroopers was embarrassing... They were getting shots off at point blank range as he ran towards them and they missed completely. Even as he lifted one by the throat the others couldn't hit him. He also battered around 8 of them and another 8 or so were still there... they must have cloning machine with them as there was only around 7 or 8 of them to begin with. I'm enjoying it though. I agree with Brickdoctor on the placement in the timeline though. I think the only time I got the sense of the Empire being remotely 'new' was Ezra looking up at the Star Destroyer in the beginning of the first episode... Like it was something he hadn't seen before. I'm hoping the familiar face at the end of the episode means we'll be seeing him in a future set and maybe the chance of a Tantive IV set. Is Flighter Flight available to view if people have seen the fourth episode?

As much as I've always hated how Order 66 was handled (I thought the Jedi's were killed far too easily)... it's something that does lend itself to a good MOCing. Really nice terrain. I'm always a fan of someone staging a MOC like this with a brick built base that shows off the actual build nicely.
