Maybe after this wave when we've all got 8 or 9 of these Stormies they won't look so bad together...

Post your general LEGO Star Wars questions here
Robianco replied to XimenaPaulina's topic in LEGO Star Wars
My Lego store still has the Executor in stock... I've never picked one up though... there's something about the scaling and build I've never been sure of. I may be in a minority for this but somehow the figures just don't work with it. -
Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?
Robianco replied to KingPixels's topic in Community
I normally search for a particular character rather than brand name... In this case Deadpool... Nothing on Ali and nothing on Taobao as yet... not that I could find anyway. -
A great depiction of an iconic scene... and the addition of the Cloud City background just highlights how accurate it is. The whole platform looks great. It's MOCs like this that really make me want a new Cloud City to happen.... even if we have to get it over several sets. Very nicely done!

Get both! ;) Seriously though I'd say pick the Falcon up if it's a good price as it'll be the first of the two to retire. I picked up another Cantina with those reductions so I now have a full band and I want to build a larger Cantina anyway. The 20% reductions across the range are quite good at the moment.

Well this may just be the first lxf file I download to build. I love this vehicle... always have. I really like how this has been expanded to contain the holding cell etc and can be simply closed up. I also like that it has the figure carrier still on the side as that's just an important part of the ITT for me... however dangerous it is for Stormtroopers!

I also think he wasn't posting the images straight away because he didn't have them all and he was also cautious to post them due to the request of the person who is letting him have them. It's September... they're being released in January. That's more than a quarter of the entire year before their release and people are still being snippy about why they haven't seen them yet. If he'd posted them straight away to much fanfare only to bugger up things with the person letting him have them and find that the next wave he can't get any images there would be people asking questions. If he posts them on his Youtube channel that's entirely up to him... You'll still see them before most of the population. For a forum with an apparently adult audience there's an awful lot of toys being thrown out of prams.

I reckon so... If Shazam gets his own movie then I don't see why we won't see a version of him.

Finally... a sense of humour! :)

It wasn't meant to be rude. Just the truth. If you don't think people are being irrational take a look at some of the other threads. Not necessarily this one. Just2Good has clearly said he can't post the images straight away as it may cause problems for the person that is 'leaking' them to him... yet people are on the verge of screaming to see them because they're 'doing stuff' later and they need to see them now. If you didn't post a desperate cry for the images then it wasn't aimed at you. I think the fact that Just2Good has actually replied and commented about 'one of the few who understands' means it's not just my imagination and maybe not such an over-reaction.

There's a custom figure of her around which is completely transparent... unfortunately it costs around 25 times what this figure cost... -
Just take your time and post them when you're able to... or at least when posting them doesn't cause an issue with the person(s) who are enabling you to get hold of the images in the first place. And also please ignore any of the desperate pleas of people across all threads whose lives seem to depend on seeing images TODAY TODAY TODAY!!!!
-
Considering this forum is meant to be populated by adults there's an awful lot of foot stamping and hissy-fitting going on around getting to see some images of some toys that most people won't see until release next year. It's still September... just be glad someone is going to the trouble of showing these at all...

Rick Deckard from "Blade Runner"
Robianco replied to ED-209's topic in Minifig Customisation Workshop
I'd go for the second hair piece... I personally think that should be used for Han anyway... It might be good to get one printed up with just his shirt and use a custom cut trench coat to put over it and just change the arm colour. There are several people on eBay that sell custom capes and coats. With the custom pistol it'd look great! -
I think he's referring to the fact that people think 'I'll get my money back so who cares'... People selling stuff like this are either not going to send an item in the first place and will just take your payment... Then Paypal need to pay you back while the seller disappears with the funds happy to do it again in the future... Or possibly worse, they send the items but they're purchased through stolen card details... So you get the item... But someone else pays for it first... It costs them £200 for the Ewok Village... It costs you £60 ( or whatever bargain price you win it for) and the seller disappears again their profit. Either way by buying these up someone will lose out... Maybe not you... But definitely not the seller.

Series 12 are everywhere here in Liverpool... Even Tesco stores.

I'd be interested to see how you get on. I actually think the lighting mod people have done on their 10179 UCS looks better than the official 'rigging' back end to create the propulsion unit. I'd not really though about lighting up the 7965.

I think it's more a case of not bidding on large expensive sets that seem to be listed in multiples for low prices. We all like the idea of getting a good deal but nobody is going to sell sets like this and this cheap and be legit.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

Wilson3a10 has... I should have mine next week. -
Yeah... this reminded me of the thread over in Community regarding a larger modular listing and it turned out to be a scam... The buyer actually got the set although the seller had purchased it with stolen card details. I think someone said already... 'If it seems to good to be true it probably is!'.

Bootleg Super Heroes minifigs - worth it or not?

No... the version that included Batgirl, Nightwing, Penguin, Joker's Goon etc... they were really well done. -
I can't believe I hadn't commented on this already! I love Hoth and always wanted to build a MOC or diorama like this (until the reality of no space at all to display it or even build it in the first place dawned on me!) The size of this is deceptive... it doesn't look huge at first until you realise the size of the walker in scale to everything else. As Beaver mentioned before the disturbance of snow around the feet and the odd break in the flatness works perfectly. The trench is the my favourite part though... those slopes in front and the build up of snow at the back of the trench near the turrets really feels like it's been dug out. I'd love to see you attempt something this size: I actually prefers yours to this one but you have to appreciate the scale of the thing! ;)

They actually don't seem to be that badly priced: http://www.bricklink...8558&colorID=86 Unless those first 3 people sell theirs!

I just had to check on the prelims again and they're LBG/Black on there... Just keep your fingers crossed!
