    I'm not exactly sure. It seems very reflective, probably because of the shaping, but it just doesn't look like the regular plastic LEGO uses.

    Hmm... they all look very nice. Still probably going to skip them, and I know I'm going to regret it at some point.

    I don't know why, but in all of the pics I've seen of the Protectors out of the box the plastic looks like a different, cheaper kind. Is this the case, VBBN? They still look amazing regardless.

    Jungle definitely has back armor. Stone uses a "fat" design, carbon copy of the Ice Protector's body so I would assume he has back armor too. Water does as well. Edit: Aanchir, could you revert your avatar to the one with hair and stop being a ninja?

    Sets are indeed designed with a pre-set price, but I'm pretty sure LOSS's... unplayability... is going to annoy kids and adults alike. Also, you could argue the exact same thing about the Toa's arms. If you have one arm completely upright, and turn the gear, the function will still work, it just won't work as well. You could also argue the exact same thing about LOSS' claw... leg things... albeit an entire leg is different to a claw.

    TBH I'm really annoyed at LEGO with LOSS. The leg problem could have been an easy fix with this piece and some actual bone pieces. Armor could still be attached, and the raised price point as a result would allow for better armor at the back. The recolors of the Technic piece could have been used instead for bone joints of the exact same color, even for just a single bone. It's definitely possible to accomplish the same leg style using solely one type of bone, I've done it myself. LOSS would have been near-perfect with just that modification. And before anyone whines about legs moving up and down and interfering with the gear function, the Toa have the exact same "problem". More legs means more strength, too. I can't imagine LOSS being very heavy, but I guess VBBN will have to say yay or nay. Any chance you could test this?

The Protector masks though... curved upward shape... transparent at the top... face underneath... aha! I knew it! The Protectors are the Bohrok!

    I'm not entirely sure if those are Japanese symbols at all. The only one I can even think of that relates to a "symbol" is the targeting reticules on Lloyd's golden ninja suit.

    There's a number of errors in Brickset's parts lists. Their inventory for Ogrum says the set has no gunmetal, or any color, Chestpiece.

Unless you have a time machine, or LEGO releases every single original set and the entire plot line all over again, "classic" BIONICLE will never return. Oh, and BZP has uploaded a Protector review: The white Protector mask is using trans-azure... *edit: Or maybe the trans-light blue color. Either way, still like it more than the regular trans-blue! EDIT: Finally! There's a Technic "spacer" element! Aka, if you have OCD and hated the open pins on NINJAGO's Battle for New Ninjago City (like me) there's a solution now!

    It's a pretty good idea. Didn't buy any Legend Beasts myself, so I can't really give any ideas on how to improve this.

    So anyway, what do you guys think of the positioning of Ga-Koro? I love that it's underwater this time. Adds so much more depth (no pun intended) to the concept of a water-themed tribe, and really gives way to a whole bunch of potential plot twists. It also looks really cool, if not somewhat stupid (roofs? Underwater? Really LEGO?)

    I'd just like to see new colors of it. Really frustrating having it only in one color. EDIT: CORRECTION: We do have it in black. It was introduced only just now in the Summer sets, no wonder I missed it. EDIT 2: Wait, Brickset is showing it in black in Breez Flea Machine yet VBBN's review has it in grey. Sigh...
