Eh, I won't be buying that game. I don't have a handheld console, and Nindroids didn't seem like a good game.

Ninjago: Masters Of Spinjitsu TV Show Thread

So apparently the new season is called Return of an Ancient Evil and will premiere in the US on the 18th of January. Anyway, the whole "Shadow of Ronin" thing is getting me curious as to what the game will be about. It's apparently set in the TV universe, yet not based on it. Although the description of the game mentions Sensei Wu, so at least we know he's still alive.- 4,591 replies

I wouldn't be surprised if Pythor had something to do with the Nindroids. Heck, this entire thing reeks of Pythor. Humans turning into not just snakes, but a near-dead subspecies? Pythor. Battle Royale? Pythor. Etc.- 4,591 replies

Figures look great. I guess this confirms without a doubt the whole "snake transformation" thing. EDIT: Wait, is that the Prince of Persia sword holder!?

Odd thing I just noticed. In the scene where Kai and Hanlan fight for the Jade Blade Kai is STILL wearing his original gi.- 4,591 replies

Ah, didn't know that. Yeah, there's definitely a similarity between the two.

Yeah, but I meant how it's four main ninjas (with Zane hiding in the background). I suppose I should have said "atmosphere", because I wasn't really a fan of NINJAGO at the time. Also, according to the Fold, the new song is free.

The only Nindroids we actually saw destroyed that even mattered were Mindroid and Cryptor (RIP Mindroid, we barely knew ye), there's still an entire army walking around. How they got on the new/Dark Island is beyond me, though.- 4,591 replies

No, we had confirmation Nindroids would be a recurring plot element. It probably is from the new series, I personally don't recall Wilfilm (the guys who make the show) ever making anything specifically for an ad, and it doesn't look like something Advance would do.- 4,591 replies

It almost feels like 2011 again for me, and I don't know why. The tournament outfits look AMAZING (and I hated them at first), Cole's and Lloyd's are easily my favorite. The new remix of the Weekend Whip isn't half bad, I actually really like this one. I'm really looking forward to next year now.

Eh, not really that close to one another, but there is a slight resemblance.

You mean the Product page? It's had its link there for ages now.

It's definitely nearing completion, just not ready. Check LEGO's home page, they've got a pic of Tournament Kai with a screenshot of the teaser in the background

It's worth it. It's a great set.

Sorry, my brain screwed me over and I had this idea in my head that The Titanium Ninja was episode 36, so I thought we had gotten two lots of descriptions for episodes 27 and 28. In short, I'm an idiot.- 4,591 replies

Considering we're 17 days away from the release of the first episode, this is an entirely different case to those leaks. Remember this year's own leaks? Yeah.- 4,591 replies

So... exactly what's going on right now? Is CN just changing the descriptions at random, or is someone photoshopping these?- 4,591 replies

The continued version also exists on the disc (at least in Australia, anyway). Last time we had an episode without the outro breaking the mood was Episode 12. Also, the "Pixal" remix originally came out in Episode 29, during the scene where Pixal and Zane fight together. But anyway, I'm really looking forward to the new season now plot details keep emerging. The sets are also really good this year, especially after how bad some of them were in the prelims. EDIT: Even higher quality version of the preview! Gotta love how BZP lists practically everything as news- 4,591 replies

That animation is really cool, very well-animated and rarely did it look out place.

A suspicion I haven't made public because it's entirely unfounded. As more details on the story have emerged, it's becoming more clear to me I may be right, but that's a story for another thread.

Look at that, Zane still has his robotic eye, which is starting to confirm a suspicion of mine. Also, if Skylor is a character that warranted a ninja suit rather than a tournament outfit, she's probably going to be around the same level of the ninja.

You guys really need to remember that this has only been planned for 3 years. Don't get your hopes up, while this might be a gigantic success like the original BIONICLE or NINJAGO, it might only sell as well as LEGO has predicted it to. They'll probably leave the story open-ended, like how in Chima Cavora was a floating island above a floating island above what looks like Spherus Magna.

Can I point out, before we dismiss the notion of a dragon for Lloyd, that the other minifigure in the Target collection was Lavertus with a scarf, which actually had some relevance to Chima's plot?
