  1. Complete with an ohwunner screaming the lore of Gen1 from the rooftops?
  2. After seeing those character videos, I'm actually excited again for the new season. Did I see ACTUAL water physics!? Finally!
  3. Well, it can't be stealing, absorption or draining because all three of those imply some form of serious loss on whoever the powers came from (eg, Kai has had no notable side-effects). This needs to be moved to Culture and Multimedia, though.
  4. The Overlord's ashes corrupted the computer systems of Borg Tower, making the Overlord into a virus that could play god with the entire city. So, when Zane died (I'm not exactly sure if Zane would corrupt it, he's not pure evil like the Overlord. So maybe something like antivirus?) and came back inside the computer system all he had to do was create a new body and download himself onto it. Simple. I thought you had watched the new episodes? Skylor's new power is pretty obvious. Did you mean something like distinction as to what it can or can't do? Well, I never liked Ronin to begin with, but now he's somewhat better. Evil Samurai should have been involved in NINJAGO since year 2, darnit. That's the main gripe I have with NINJAGO, LEGO has handled the line pretty badly for the most part.
  5. I got the impression it was the same protectors that summoned the Toa that heard the "Prophecy of Heroes". edit: Oh, nevermind. I never bothered to read that pamphlet.
  6. If you could provide some pictures of any notable artwork, that'd be great. I'm hoping to buy the book as soon as I can, unlike the Visual Dictionary.
  7. Deevee confirmed to have a Vahi 8/8 IGN (because someone won't get the joke, I'm being sarcastic) Didn't the Vahi get a gold edition in 2004? But yeah, you have a point. It was never mass-produced, and even in an alternate dimension where it WAS mass-produced we last saw it in 2004. Kids will be annoyed, even sad, that they can't get their own Vahi to complete the Mask of Time. However, if the "top half" was just an NYCC exclusive (like the original was only given away at conventions) I don't think there'd be too much of a problem other than that it would basically become a friendship locket. Some would have both halves, and others would have theirs disconnected forever.
  8. Wow... talk about missing the point
  9. Fixed that for you.
  10. Well, I've seen one guy speculate that PIXAL and Zane coexist in the same body. Then again, I've also seen someone speculate that Griffin Turner is That would work in theory, but remember that the Tournament had already begun. What's the point in hiding your powers if it results in you getting kicked out of the Tournament? Actually I was busy replaying Human Revolution.
  11. Eh, the Bios are basically going to be like the books they did in the first year of Ninjago. They're (slightly) canon, but any information in them is going to be thrown out the window whenever the plot demands it *cough* Neuro vs Lloyd *cough* Then again, pretty much well anything canon in Ninjago gets thrown out the window every new season, so there's not much use complaining
  12. That's not what I'm talking about, Cagast. That comes after she's learned how to use her powers, and is in the process of using them. How did she discover her powers, and hone them? We haven't seen her use any powers other than copying and fire, so she hasn't used them too much.
  13. Overall Power? Open Party? Ostrich Poop? Ordering Pizza? Omen Pies? Hopefully it's the fourth one.
  14. It's an annoying glitch, too. Not even leaving and re-entering the page fixes it.
  15. Yeah, no. Whenever I click the "enter website lolz111!11! lego$ r kool" thing it just refreshes the page. Forever (I'm not kidding). By that point I just gave up on it and started playing Deus Ex. That combiner looks kind of meh anyway.
  16. But the question is, how did Skylor learn she could absorb powers? Was she sitting in the bathtub one day one suddenly all the water disappeared? Did she accidentally suck the life out of Bruce Wayne's parents? etc.
  17. If there's a PDF of that (or single images) can someone link that? I used to be a member of LEGO club, but then LEGO decided to stop sending me the magazines. (and no, in Australia the membership payment works differently)
  18. The Golden Dragon had the split tail in-set, on-screen and "in-legend". Yeah, we already knew about that, sorry. However, that makes Chen an even worse villain. Now,
  19. Y'know, after seeing the start (new intro is awesome, remix of the remix is not), I'm really glad that the writers are letting the characters themselves ask questions about "why has X happened when Y said this?", but it's not enough to do that and still leave the mystery unexplained *cough* stone armor *cough* It's a very fast episode. It was really enjoyable towards the middle, but I found that it kind of bounced up and down from there. The end was a bit of a let-down, unfortunately. I'd say it's not as good as the first episode of the new season but it's not terrible, either. Not exactly concerned over this, these are the first two episodes and required for the backstory. But there's most certainly better "introduction part 2" episodes, like Home or The Day Ninjago Stood Still. Kai has a really awesome suite, so does Jay. Chen is easily one of, if not the worst, villain the show has had. He's crazy, but not sadistically psychotic like the Overlord after he possessed Garmadon. Chen is smart and can coordinate, but he seems to rely on his henchmen too much and even Clouse is doing better than that. There's nothing about Chen that's anything unique or notable, other than his weird obsession with terrible theatrics. I really want them to develop him, but I can't exactly see them doing much better with this kind of an introduction. Unless his ultimate plan has something to do with poisoning Ninjago with noodles (or worse yet, turning the noodles into tiny snakes and conquering it that way ) I can't see him being too big of a threat outside of the island.
  20. I... uh... wow. It's dissapointing to see that the cultists really are just going to be a mindless thug army. But overall, I'm REALLY looking forward to the episode 36 now. Oh, brilliant. I just realized the reason we thought Karlof's name was Hanlan was simply because that's what it looked like on the box. It actually IS Karlof on the Dojo Showdown box.
  21. I didn't even know there was a name for the set. When did that happen?
  22. We have confirmed names for some of the competitors.. Karlof (Hanlan) - Metal Griffin Turner - Speed Ash - Smoke Neuro - Mind Gravis - Gravity Bolobo - Nature Skylor - Unknown Or in other words, we might not be seeing any more of them in wave 2, which kinda stinks. I would have loved an Ash figure, and Neuro looks really cool
  23. That was probably the unnamed missing set number set.
  24. Yeah. Guess what? We've already seen pictures of the set. A month ago.
  25. Uh... did I miss something?
