I've seen people throw this idea around on youtube, so I thought I might as well post it here. People have noticed that Tahu and Fire protector come with green skull spiders, and lewa comes with a blue one. Is it possible that Toa and their respective protectors share colours of spider, and that each colour of set has its own different spider colour, like the krana back when the bohrok were released?

I hope that wouldn't mean that they've resigned themselves to the fact that they'll only ever make sets in those six colours. I want my obscure element toa dammit!!!

This. exactly this. New toa characters please. I wouldn't mind seeing him as some sort of spirit, but I wouldn't really want him to be able to return to life fully. It would be nice to see him speak to his old friends again. They never even got to say goodbye ;(

That looks like an incredibly low budget Kamen rider........ I love it.

This moc is splendid. I didn't even realise what wasn't a vahki head until the close-up, to give you an idea of how well you've done the head. The torso looks great too, slightly skeletal, in a good way.

I still see that as more of a hive queen. I don't expect it to have an actual plan for the mask of creation. It can't even wear a mask.

I love how annoyed the blacksmith is by it. I guess he's more of a system fan. XD Regarding the skull spiders, I take it we're assuming that they're being controlled by a higher power? I can't think what a group of Rahi would want with a mask. On a related note, I hope we keep the word Rahi.

I hadn't even started with Bionicle until 2006, and I understood 2008 just fine. They needed a mask to resurrect their "god". I didn't know the history, or even who the nuva were, but I still got the enjoyment out of it.

It's no just anti air, its anti everything XD. Nothing exists in a vacuum. But thinking about it, the next wave might be almost all villians, if we're going back to Bionicle's formula. I hope they explain whether or not the protectors are Matoran though.

My ideal alternative team is: Plantlife, Plasma, Psionics, Iron, Sonics or Gravity, and Lightning. Not sure how a toa of vacuum would work, since a vacuum is the absence of stuff.

Yeah, I want new toa next year as well. I fell that sticking to one team for its entire run was one of HF's biggest failing. I was honestly bored of the characters by the end. (also because I rreeaallyy want toa of other elements). Though I would prefer if Pohatu's final version actually had Tan, but whatever.

Yeah, I'm still hoping for a continuation of sorts, despite their mata-esque looks. Adaptive armour would be the easiest explanation, lego wouldn't even have to say how they got it, just say "these guys can change how their armour looks" That would also justify the inevitable redesigns in the coming years, when they need to sell more toys.

Yeah, I hope the use of "master", "magic", and "gold" isn't a sign that we're going to lose more imaginative words like "Toa", "protodermis", and "Kanohi".

Wow, of all the heroes to miss, I never expected Furno to top anyone's list. Obviously, I can't answer the question, as we don't even have final images of the new Bionicle, let alone have tem in-hand. Its safe to say that it will be better story wise, as it's arguably hard to be worse, after the failed reboot that was Invasion from Below. Set wise, I'm very optimistic about the new Bionicle sets, but, as I say, I can't be sure. -
What's your take on why the Nuva have changed back into Mata in your version? Also, paragraphs please XD. I think the wall of text melted my brain :P

yeah, every time I see that abbreviation, I keep expecting someone to have posted a moc in the thread. How do you guys normally abbreviate the masks of life and light btw? On another note, I recently realised how many different browns Bionicle went through. Hopefully Bionicle Nuva will stay with the type Pohatu uses for its entire run, so I can actually make a brown moc of decent size without having to amalgamate several different shades. >,<

The IFB beast jaws open in stages like a ratchet joint. Knights' kingdom visors clipped on and then just flapped about. if you held the figure upside-down, the visor would flip open. it was annoying. So assuming these masks flip up at all (and I hope they don't), with any luck they'll stay tight.

well, her old blue is pretty much the same one all the blue HF sets used. It's entirely a matter of opinion. I've not seen her new form in person, but I'm quite looking forward to the azure.

If the masks are not attatching from the front, I really hope they get rid of those circles from the front of some of the masks. The defenders look a little odd, and Lewa looks like a surprised fish.

The fact that the mask isn't included in any of the sets makes me think it might get a summer wave release. I would assume though, that the fact that it's even up for grabs means that artahka isn't wearing it... Also, since this is clearly the god-tier McGuffin of the year, it's unlikely anyone will actually wear it, at least not in a way that lets them use its power, because to do so would be to essentially have won the fight already.

That would certainly help the toa mata split up less often. EDIT: changed my profile pic to what I imagine a toa of magic would look like. (after several attempts, I have not found a better way to post this photo XD)

I love how the mask of creation currently looks. Seems complex and regal enough to fit its description.
