If I may say my humble opinion on the sistershipping matter, and sorry if this has been said already and im just repeating somebody: I think when Ska has the time, it would be vice to make the rule somewhat restricting like: When you loose your ship, you will be able to use the sistershipping for once or twice after that. After that, a new ship is required to be made. Or something relating to that. I dont see the problem whit sistershipping, as I understand that most of us dont have the time and the bricks, as some have said before, however, theres also the Digital way of making ships to those who havent got the bricks. therefore sistershipping is fine IF some slight modifications can be made in the rigging or changing the class etc. as suggested. Correction: "A close encounter" rather than a attack.... Whatever that encounter was, shall remain a mystery I belive since the newspaper and Ska wasnt really determinate of what had actually happened.... Though I admit that the lost of your ship was an..... Unwanted result for both of the parties. But hey! Look on the bright side, the pirates didnt get your ship or the cargo! Think that seems right to me. All is in goo order. Its 35 dbs form entering and putting it as a FB. now I need to wait for the dbs to arrive from the MRCA and pay the escort taxes off. I dont like paying, but if I want to make such good profits in the next MRCA the coming, well, its a must! Like it or not... Captain Becker

I too thought of a committee to track and hunt these pirates and mutineers down and bring them to face justice! So that the seas might be a safer place for honest and peaceful trading... Fair winds and calm seas! Yours truly: Captain Becker

"Close encounter whit pirates". But not close enough luckily! Looks like my Poseidon really did listen to my prayers this time. This was sure worth the wait! 240 dbs... I couldnt dream that even in my wildest dreams! But look our navy now... Desolated! Thanks Ska for bringing us such an exiting MRCA! This was quite a read but I managed to get through it. So much pirate activity in these waters these days.... Fair winds and calm seas! Yours truly: Captain Becker

KB really pulled his weight in this MRCA. :) Even though we had an outrageous desolation of out glorious fleet . Im sure we can quickly rebuild of whit the amount of doubloons. Hopefully next month will prove to be a bit more forgivin. Fair winds and calm seas! Yours truly: Captain Becker -
The troops have finally arrived! 700 Redcoats are marching to you soon! All I have to get now are 700 head's and a few more tricornes. I'm going to get fleshie heads mainly because I'm not going to order 1400 yellow hands and rip and replace every single one independently! I'm too lazy for that and I have spend more than enough for the troops. Ill post pictures when I get them all assembled. Put in ranks etc. Captain Becker

I also have to expand the band now, the CMS 13 classic king is perfect, you can see the photo if you scroll back a page. Only thing is im not sure if I should use yellow epaulets and old black shakos, or golden epaulets and brown tricornes.... Im torn between the two.

Thanks all, glad you liked the story. I know the furniture isnt the best but I try to put more effort into them in the future. I had to assemble them pretty quickly and get them photographed. Also im trying to make a proper house/office for myself in LDD when I get the time. Fair winds and calm seas! Yours truly: Captain Becker

My Intro thread is up finally! Link to that thread is here. Fair wind and calm seas! Yours truly: Captain Charles J. Becker -
Aye, I just use the epaulets to differ the officers from the soldiers. The common foot sodliers wont have any, corprals or sergants get then the epaulettes but in different colours to tell the rank. The 2009 soldiers which I have at the moment as in my army (Over 50 or so) will be then transferred to be the Marine core, as I fit the torso fits a bit better for that usage. At the moment the uniform for my marines is the CMF red judge Torso from series 9.

Story of Captain Becker Hello everyone! I finally found the time needed to make my intro thread. Reason it took so long is because of work and I have been sick lately. But not to worry! Im finally able to post this here at last! So this is my story who I am and how I came to be a Captain.I also wish this will pass as a freebuild, but we shall see. It was a quiet and a beatifull day, the sun was shining high across the sky and the weather was warm. "Its truly a hot day today...." I said to myself and drank the last wine from the glass. I just had finished my letter to my wife, as I heard someone knocking on the door. "Come!" I shouted. A man entered the room whit a small chest. "Ah, its you Jacquel, what is it?" "Sir! here´s the payment for you singing up for the Brethren of the Brickseas!" "Ah yes yes, of course. Put it over there on that small drawer and let have a look shall we?" "Aye aye Sir!" "Well. its not much but atleast its a start wouldnt you agree?" "Yes Sir!" "Jacques, have I ever told you how I became to be a Captain?" "No sir you haven't!" "Haven´t I truly? Well I must have forgotten that, would you want to hear my story then?" "Yes Sir, gladly!" "Take a seat then, wine? It arrived just today, straight from Breshaun and fresh as always!" "Thank you Sir!" "So where do I begin... I was born in outskirts of Granoleon, to a merchant family. We lived in a farm house about 10 miles off from the capital. My father was a merhant sailor and rarely at home. He served in the latest war whit Corrington and was lost in action. my Mother, was proud and strong, independent woman, but after hearing my fathers death, she eventually died of grief. I then left my home farm, joined the local Militia where I served for two years, which I got moved to Marine school, became a Captain of the marines, after that, to midshipmen and all the way to the rank of Captain. In this year of 616 in our lords year, I am 23 years old and serving in His Majestys La Royale´s fleet as a Captain." "You have risen through rank quite rapidly then Sir!" "Yes, you might even say that the gods have blessed and watched over me, although you wouldnt belive that I would have ever risen to the rank on Captain, not when I was still a young midshipmen like you, I was terrible at navigating and naval terms. I even had to make the examination for lieutenant twice! But that´s a story to another time. Now then, would you mind to take this letter to the first ship thats leaves to the Elysabethtown? Its a letter to my wife" "Aye aye Sir!" "Dismissed! And have a good day Jacques!" "Thank you Sir! As to you too!" And that was only the short version of my story... No truly it was! I have written a way longer version of it but I felt it was too numb an boring/Long to read. I will post it though if anyone is actually willing to read it. Fair winds and calm seas! Yours truly: Captain Charles J. Becker

Oh but I didnt order the 2009 version, even though I couldve ordered over a thousand of them... Nope, Instead I ordered the PoTC King Georges Officers torsos as I think they are more "Accurate" to the time perio of 1750 etc. I will post pictures when I get them all assembled and so on. Captain Becker

Quick question: I am working on my Intro thread at the moment, which doesn't really involve much anything else than reading and my Character picture. I remember at the start of this that you could also register the intro thread as a Freebuild and get 25 db´s that way easily. Is that still correct or has that changed since then?
