The ship you are working on, the parrot dosent necessarily need a tumblehome at all. For example: Perfectionist did also his brig or ketch whitout one, can show you any pictures as it seems he have deleted his Flickr page, nd none of the pictures are availeble anymore.. Ofcourse you can add a tumblehome if you want to, but that would mean desining maby the whole ship again and start from scratch. IMHO I dont recommend adding a tumblehome. She is fine how she is right now. Also, I dont know if youre familiar whit the TV series called: Hornblower. I have started to watch the series again, and it shows that a sloop of war called: Hotspur have a tumblehome in it, but note the desing of the ship! It has three mast for example, and reminds more like a frigate than a sloop. Captain Becker EDIT: Heres the episode in case youre wondering, its episode 7 called: Duty and its an hour and a half long. Higly recommend watching these as they provide great inspiration.

Looks good, though the second photo failed miserably I am afraid... Anyway, the ship itself looks promising from what I can tell, but I think you made quite a common mistake there, sometimes when people make these shorter vessels and use two midsections or so, they tend to overdo the curvature. I really cant tell from that second picture, but I personally think you should maby raise the middle a bit if possible. But then again, the picture is fuzzy and the angle its taking from isnt really showing the curvature properly, so I am going to wait some clearer pictures. Anyway, looking good, just keep going. I do agree that the Frigate type does lack that IFS feeling somewhat. Wish I could only own one of those babies. Anyway, great job on that MOD, but it could surely use some more color on the sides. But then again, not maby possible to do anything good looking using the 1x3 curved slopes wich does BTW work a lot better than the "Flat sides". Also the fact that its fully playable makes this a great MOD, Great job! Captain Becker

Great to see that you have decided to start working again whit that previous vessel by demolishing it and starting from the clean table. Curious to see the next stage of it, as you seem to use this tutorial for your help. Have you been thinking what type of ship youre gonna make? I personally think that there is two choices: Barquentine/Brig or a Sloop. Captain Becker

Excellently made foliage and interestingly many types of palm trees on one MOC. And I must highlight how you made the different layouts of the ground as well. The story so far has been most interesting and waiting to see what will come next. Onlythingwich I dont quite like is that shiny non-Lego rapier, but thats just frustratingly accurate me as I dont really like to use non-Lego parts in my MOC' s. But do keep it! It looks great and fits right into your avatar. Where did you got it though? Captain Becker

Oh I remember that fortress. Massive and imposing. Anyway back to the ship itself. Well, obliviously its a large red ship whit a lot of cannons on it. It seems much more like a pirate ship to me at the first sight, and its quite obvious that you didnt try to achieve realistic look on it wich I like because it feels like everyone is trying to make their ship realistic as possible, and I kinda miss the Imagination so to speak if you understand what I mean. Great to see youre back, and hope to see some more works from you in the future. Captain Becker

Oh my..... can I have that LXF file to take a closer look? This is mind bogglingly awesome! I cant say anything else than... Wow. Captain Becker -
Didnt buy today, but I did go to Prisma 5 days ago and bought myself a little present for chirstmas as I know my parents wont do, and its been ages since ive buyed anything LEGO related, years prehaps. Anyway, I went in and bought two 60002 Fire trucks. And was keen to buy yet a third Lego City set, but i thought, "Nah, too expensive for my wallet". And also I got a new game BF 4 wich I actually quite regret now, as I did got the normal version and not the prerium version wich would have been the same prize but I didnt look carefully enough. Just saw the game, grabbed it and thats it and they both had costed about 50 e Stupid, stupid me! Captain Becker

very well done Sir! Clever use of minifigure hans as headrailing, I havent seen that technique used often, its very rare as far as I know. Good job in the rigging as well. The only thing that points out a bit is the side galleries at the stern, as they look a bit odd the way they are at this point if you know what I mean, but thats not a problem IMO, im just being silly picky me. As I dont even havent never build a ship before, so its wrong for me to judge. But the ship is very well made. Congrazulations for your new ship Captain. Captain Becker

I have many many many times thought of this, but I have never actually come to any sort of "Decent layout" so to speak. This however looks great as always ACPin. Captain Becker -
That can be usefull, its a perfect disguise.... Err, I mean distraction. Forget what I just said, didnt say anything! Welcome to Eurobricks Commodore, great to have you onboard of our forums. May I ask about that union jack on the background, where is that from? Or is it just made from paper or something? It fits perfectly onto your avatar. Kindly: Captain Becker

Oh I wish I had some of those Torsos on me aswell.... They fit so well in Pirate theme IMHO. Anyay, the ship looks really good, sure the figurhead looks a bit funny but hey, theres only so much you can do whit LEGO, and thats what I love about it, its somewhat limited aswell so free. The tiny cannons are very well desinged, infact, I dont think I have seen that desing in use anywhere. So well done Sir! Very well done MOC. Captain Becker

This reminds me a lot of Haltiamieli's MOC back in the day. I just love the way you used the sails and the tiny bit of space you had. Was this made by LDD maby? Any possibility to have an LXF file so I can check it out closer and for more details and such? Captain Becker
