Monetizing file sharing of LDD LXF files?
dr_spock replied to sparkart's topic in Forum Information and Help
There is no formal LDD online storage policy. People have used Dropbox, Brickshelf, MegaUpload, etc. to host their files. Put your files wherever you want. If some people don't like the site where they sit, then they won't go to it.- 12 replies

Welcome to Eurobricks. Have fun.

Since it looks like you're using Brickshelf, you'll have to re-size your pictures to 800x600 before uploading them to Brickshelf. Brickshelf doesn't have resizing features. I use a program call Infraview on a PC. It can do batch resizing.

Very good looking color scheme and design.

Good luck. Getting them to put away is easier than trying to get them to sort. Any piece of LEGO daddy steps on becomes his.

Help with the NXT 2.0 speaker
dr_spock replied to syclone's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
Soldering is a good skill to have. I contacted LEGO Customer Service through the LEGO website for Canada. There was form to fill out with your information and explanation of what's wrong. You can also call them if there is a support telephone number for your country. A few days later they contacted me by phone that they were sending me a replacement NXT and a prepaid envelope to ship the old NXT back to them. I received the replacement NXT a couple days later. The return envelope eventually arrived a week or so later. Unfortunately it had pre-U.S. Postage which doesn't work in Canada. I ended up paying a couple dollars out of pocket for the postage. Overall, I was happy to have a working NXT for the cost of postage. Good luck. -
Help with the NXT 2.0 speaker
dr_spock replied to syclone's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
That's too bad. LEGO CS fixed my NXT last summer. I guess I got lucky that they still had spares in stock. The speaker on the NXT is not very loud. An earplug could be a good idea assuming you don't need your NXT to move around by itself without dragging speaker wires. On my version of the NXT, the speaker is mounted to the white holder for the LCD screen. It looks like there are black and red wires going to it. Nice work. I thought 10210 is Redcoats. Would moving the second mast a bit further aft help with not having the 3rd mast?

Help with the NXT 2.0 speaker
dr_spock replied to syclone's topic in LEGO Technic, Mindstorms, Model Team and Scale Modeling
If you adjusted the speaker volume all the way up and still get no sounds, you could have your parents contact LEGO Customer Service. LEGO may send you a replacement NXT in return for the broken one back. It is not hard to replace the speaker assuming that is the problem and not the sound circuitry. You would have to find a new speaker of similar diameter. Try LEGO CS first. -
She looks a bit jaundice to me. She must be after Canada's free healthcare. But then again, Italy spends more on healthcare than Canada, n'est-ce pas?

It is a minor packaging error in your favor or seller's attempt to get a positive rating by including a couple extras. It is up to your personal moral and ethics. If you feel better that they are paid for, then pay the $1.54. You could send a note thanking seller for extras and see what the seller want to do about them.

Nice job. Looks like it is fun to swing around. Careful not to poke someone in the eye.

Watch out for marriage of convenience to get into Canada. Then divorce and lossing 50% of your net worth and LEGO.

Cute. Very much like the one my daughter brought home from school when each student takes turns taking care of the class pet.

Great job. I love these little box cabs. Interesting to see how you used the 9V motor and how you would do a B1. I ended up with a BB1 in order to fit the M-motor, battery box and IR.
