    I got the 60052 for the cow too. It has blue train base plates, good for making a blue Horizon Express. Or Conrail GP38 diesel engine. Mine has been parted into other MOCs.

    You can't please everyone. As product manager, the trick is to please enough people that they buy enough of your train set that you make your revenue and profit target for that set. Ideally, you want to exceed the target and go for the stretched goal and enjoy the performance bonus pay cheque.

    Good use of Technic pieces. You could make use of the Technic pin holes in the tank to pin it to your car.

    Flex track has more friction than regular curved track and will slow you down your train if you run it through a curve of flex track. It also makes for a bumpy rough ride as I found out.

    Awesome work. So much power and goodness. The passenger cars are great. I think the modern ISO shipping container on a flat car seems a bit out of place for the golden era of the Big Boy. A truck trailer on flat car would be what I have memories of. Also a UP caboose at the rear of a freight train would complete it nicely. Really looking forward to the video and how they handle LEGO curves.

    I don't remember exactly what sets. I recall some blue train tracks and a red tow truck. Then my LEGO disappeared during a move in grade 2. Didn't have LEGO again until university.

    Use what colors you're comfortable with using. It is your creation and imagination after all. If you're building something that exists in real life, then copy their colors to stay prototype true as we say in model railroading. Alternatively, change it up to your personal tastes. Your limit is the colors LEGO offers.

    You're welcome. I guess we'll have to wait until the instructions come out or someone power functions theirs to see. It appears to be designed with the M-motor in mind so the LEGO folks would have geared it to rotate at an appropriate speed. Including Power Functions would increase the price for those who don't need or want it.
