@Anders T Wow! What an incredibily awesome thing to say! *Sniff* and I'm so happy to hear that I gave you some inspiration. :) Yes I've refined my techniques over the years and the hull shaping is WAY superiour to the old HMS Challenger. :) Again thankyou for the kind words :)

Thanks Captain Moore and Fraunces :) We have a fairly large stand we might be able to display it on once complete... but it's SO darn tall too! HA! Hope it fits! :)

HA! And that why its being built in sections... if you look at the above pic. You can see there is a break between the completed first section and the incomplete 2nd. :) -

Oh Ive been collecting for years and years. I've got massive amounts of Lego. Mostly from either private purchases or from Bricklink.com. I figure this will be about 19-20 feet long. 5 sections total. Bow section is pretty secure now. I moved it the floor and am working on the next section. (Mind you the first section isnt complete.... just its sides and the support structure.) -
Hi all! Been away for a long long long time.. but back with a new project on the go.

Hi Phred! Long time no talk. :-) More rounded hull, more features, built in sections for easy storage and lotsa Lego string. Here's an old pic... I'll post some new ones tonight.

Okay! After a LONG break...and one very badly destroyed HMS Challenger later. reconstruction has begun. :-)

Most of my AFV have lots of details. But all the pics I've found, show next to no accessories on the Nashorn. Except for treads and wheels. See lotta goodies on most of my creations. http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3542/342691..._192376db97.jpg **EDIT: I didn't find any actual pics with shovels or pick axes, but I did find a model of a Nashorn with a SHovel on the side. I'll give it a whirl. ;-) **
