Let's see... Main thing for me at the moment is Animal crossing New leaf for my 3DS but I am trying to get the wii set up in my room and that will most likely be ACGC as the main thing i want to play. Was playing DKCR 3ds and DMW along with a tetris and wario marathon b4 that. As far as what's next for me, not positive. thinking playing NSMB2 for the 3ds again but no clue about the wii though.

Anyone else have a target that only has 2 out of 3 boxed animal sets on the shelf? Went to the closest target seeking the mama and baby bunnies set and they only have puppy training and the foal on. Mega aggravating since i only want mama and baby bunnies set. Talked to a guy and he said that they MIGHT be coming in next week. No series 6 either, or even series 5, despite the ample space for new stuff. REALLY??? am debating between waiting for wave 6 to show up on the lego shop and doing one big order when i get the money(vet ambulance, series 6, and 2 mama and baby sets plus 3 wave 4 mixels if i choose to get them ) or hoping that the sets eventually show up around here. However, taking into account how lazy the closest Walmart to us is with maintaining the lego aisle, i might be better off doing an online order for the majority of stuff unless we get to a target b4 hand or a miracle happens at Walmart. We REALLY need a Lego store where i live. During vacation time, the #1 thing i look forward to is going to the lego store where it's neat, tidy, and they care about stocking the shelves.

Random parts that I buy or get through lot purchases are more likely to be in the M&M catagory(either right away or put in my minifigure building section). as far as figures that come in sets(including CMF's) they are usually kept together unless i buy the set(be it box, bag, or poly) with a specific idea in mind for a fig and it needs a face change. I don't tend to even use the figures that come in sets that much since I don't really like the figures with all that printing they've been doing. If i get to the point of digging through the figures I have assembled(not counting the ones i made with parts i can see myself using all parts for sure) could i see myself Raiding the figures for the hair, heads, even the legs? Sure i could see myself doing it. The torsos? Not so much. Many of the torsos are ones that have very little use for me The figures that i tend to use are more of the simple printing ones or specific torsos that actually can work in my moc's. Like at the moment, a project i'm doing at the moment has 2 figures that use the kind of torsos that I have use for. One is a hoodie print and the other is an explorer print. Oh, and please don't say "if you don't like the figures that much, then get rid of the ones you don't need" since i already have traded in about 86 figures(plus a few figure parts and extra accessories) with an AFOL in a nearby city for stuff i do need plus probably will be doing some more raiding in the near future. And i do have plain torsos and a few printed ones i do need on my BL list and after i secure a few friends 2015 sets i want, i am going to look into placing an order

Actually those bootleg figures aren't that bad of a quality. Not lego quality but not as bad as some bricks i've encountered. Got the stephanies mini bakery clone and it's pretty cool. as far as bootleg legos go, they've been around for at least a year or so. I remember there being that malibu mansion add on u could build that had like 5 iron mans that u needed for the full look. I remember people talking about clones then since it was way cheaper then buying the real deal

Lego Baseplate Price increasing.
SweetiePie88 replied to The Jersey Brick Guy's topic in Buy, Sell, Trade and Finds
GUH!!! 5 bucks for a plate is a decent price taking into account the amount of plastic needed. 8 bucks for one is just to much! -

I chose out the items and mom paid XD I got 70009 that we found on clearance for 29 bucks, 2 polys(jet ski and spider man), and the creative town Built spidey this morning and just finished the 70009. that is a really great build! -
more or less Herky. between a bad dental phobia and genetics, my mouth was in rough shape. Still is in a manner of speaking but that's more of a tale of a P.M. conversation so i don't get to off topic here. at first i didn't think legos would help much but when i realized that i could set a goal of having a building area set up and i can MOC a lot easier, i was able to keep moving even on the roughest days. I checked the lighthouse MSRP. Definatly am going to look into it after i secure the vet ambulance, at least 2 momma rabbit sets, and have enough money reserved for the series 6 animals i want. if it would of been 50 bucks, i would of waited for a sale since a bunch of the parts in the count are tiny parts.

WHOA! I really love that lighthouse! It's kind of like the creator lighthouse but taking up a notch. Anyone know the MSRP?

they are on ebay but after bidding is over or even the buy it now function hits, they are hitting at least 6 - 9 bucks a bag! "The Friends Animals have never been released on time in the USA. I never got a baby deer because those sets were just thrown out. All the Animal sets have been randomly released." weird. around here, that in particular wave stuck around for AGES and i think there might still be stock left at one walmart! "It's annoying, but it's only a plastic toy" Maybe to some people but to me, it's an effective, non-perscription anti-depressent. I haven't talked about it much here but throughout this year, i went through a major dental journey(details below) thats taking everything out of me. i had days i never wanted to get out of bed except for the fact that mom pretty much dragged me out to do whatever needed to be that way but she doesn't know about most of what's really going on.. You know a big part of what's kept me going? Me making a goal of creating my own lego building space and doing more building. The lego space is coming along very nicely and i am doing more building. am definatly feeling WAY better and more hopeful for the future. How major of a journey? Try to the tune of 14 extractions, 2 fillings, getting upper and lower partials that i had to go in for several adjustments, and a cold sensetivity problem that took a while to solve.

Not a surprise with that game. i tried the game on 2 separate occasions(one closed beta, one open beta) i didn't care for it. the first time i was stuck in the pirate area then tried again and still had problems(was stuck in the REALLY unfair battle of beating the pirate captain guy). Overall the battles at times seems to be nothing but getting swarmed by enemies or having to bulldoze past the things. Not a fun game from what i've played so far.

I may be the type of person that can be patient for a short while but after that i depend explantion for the hold up! You have to trust me when i say that by the time that the UK was getting wave 6 when the states still only had wave 4, i was ready to chew out lego but no, i was patient. And no the states hasn't always been this far behind! Last year the states and the UK were in sync or if we weren't, it was off by maybe a month. fast forward to this year and it's a disaster! January 2014 rolled around and i had the money in fist for wave 4, especially excited for the price drop. UK got it and the states was left waiting tell late march. Summer rolls around and the UK gets wave 5 while the states still had wave 4. September rolls around and the UK has wave 6. States STILL has wave 4 and doesn't get wave 5 until the following month. We are now 2 days from christmas and i've yet to hear of a find in the states for wave 6. On top of that, i am really worried that we might not even get wave 6 since the boxed animal sets are the things slated to replace the bags. i am NOT complaining about the boxed sets at all since if those are anything like other boxed sets of that size, those will be about a billion times easier to find where I live. However, i'd just like to be able to get my hands on the last wave of bags so i can stop panicking about missing out on them altogether.

Lego is lying up a storm through email. I emailed them about when series 6 will hit the states. here's the response : "Thanks for getting in touch with us! Isn’t it exciting that there are so many new LEGO® sets every year? It’s great to see you’re eagerly waiting and trying to find out about what we’ve planned for the future. I'm sorry that I can’t tell you anything about LEGO Friends Series 6 at the moment. Something like that might be coming soon, but our new toys are always kept secret until they’re announced in the catalogue or on LEGO.com. That’s because it takes a long time to design and make new toys, and we sometimes need every minute until they hit the shelves to make them perfect. Besides... we look forward to surprising you!" My response back: " that's an awfully WEAK excuse for lego being to LAZY to get them to the states or at least giving a release date. Because ya'll want it to be a "surprise"/" hasn't been announced online or in catalogue yet"/it takes time to develop stuff??? NEWSFLASH! Series 6 has been out in the UK for at least 3 months now, images have been WELL KNOWN since at least the summer, possibly spring! So that lame excuse is null and void! If I was willing to pay nearly double retail, I could take and buy them from ebay or bricklink or contact a fellow Lego fan over in the UK and buy them TONIGHT! By doing a google search, I am seeing all three on the AMERICAN lego site right now! There is NO excuse for this!!! The 2013 animals came out at the same time as the UK yet this year was nothing short of a disaster! The UK had 3 waves this year filled with wonderful animals with release time frames of January for wave 4, june for wave 5, and September for wave 6. What was the states faced with? Wave four in LATE march, wave 5 FINALLY showed its face in October, and it's now a waiting game for when/if lego decides to ship off wave 6! "

Youre not the only one hoping for wave 6 to come soon! I've been Climbing the walls for well over a month now!

I definatly live close to a dull target. Only 2015 thing they had was that icky frozen castle.

Yanked the other 25 to do a little shopping tonight. relative had no luck and TRU and nothing at target tonight.

LEGO Sets Catalog, First Half of 2015
SweetiePie88 replied to XAxles's topic in General LEGO Discussion
*checks catalog out* uhh... something critical is not there! Where's the friends series 6 animals? -
Got my fingers crossed. Relative is going to TRU tomorrow and they are going to check for me. If they ask how many i want, i'm going to go with 2 complete sets if they have it. If they want to have it was an xmas gift to me, great. If not, then i have the money. I chose to pull out a $20 for dinner from TB and a few things from WM.

has anyone heard of ANY series 6 sightings in the states? i want to get my hands on wave 6 b4 the boxed sets slated to replace the bags come out. Can't lie though. I'm finding myself in a position where being a lego fan isn't even fun anymore. Here i am sitting on 45 bucks. That's enough for me to pick up a few games on ebay, do a bricklink order for stuff i need with money left over, keep an eye on lego clearance/sales, go to the flea market, get the 2 hard ware organizers that i really need(or 1 hardware and one sterelite unit), or put towards a wii u but no, i'm instead having to hold on to it since i have no clue when lego is going to bother getting out wave 6 of the friends animals to the states.

Printed vs. Stickered Bricks - some data
SweetiePie88 replied to 62Bricks's topic in General LEGO Discussion
love the chart. I HATE stickered parts tbh. I'd rather have printed parts that'll actually last instead of the stickered stuff that's famous for chipping/peeling over time. and at the price legos are at, they should be printed parts all the time! Mega bloks may have a sticker addiction but at the prices they are at, i don't have as much of a problem. the only exception to this is I would rather lego do stickers for the curved torsos that are only good for making females(or maybe a male figure in drag) so I could have plain torsos that have more use in my collection. recently i went onto bricklink to start building a wanted list. NUMBER ONE thing on my list i was worried about were PRINTED parts and number 2 was plain torso assemblies, especially looking for yellow, for a project i want to do. For about every 10 or so parts i found that i liked a lot, only about one or 2 were printed! If i wanted stickered parts, i'd buy the bricks and the sticker sheets and go to town. And then there's stickered parts that make no sense at all! Lego uses police logos and licensed plates a ton in the city line so why are they choosing stickers over print? or wasn't there a LOTR set(or was it hobbit) that had something like 100 stickers included? is lego really trying to say that at least some of those parts couldn't be printed? -
Scored a sealed 70113-1: CHI Battles at the flea market for only 3 bucks!

If LEGO was in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade what would the f

I agree on the basic minifigure. Maybe like the lego bob figure from lego universe. That's my favorite figure of them all.
