  1. Woot! Halo month on! Steve
  2. Ah, so that's where those lovely grey shutters came from. Steve
  3. While that's the easy solution, I don't think it'd be the winner submission. Or we could refine the rules a bit. I surely wouldn't design a contest with that big of a loophole/ambiguity. Why, they'd take away my law degree. Steve
  4. Funny topic. Also think of how they'll have to enlarge the roads to accommodate the larger vehicles. Perhaps that could be a good contest. Design a 4 wide car that can seat more than one? Steve
  5. I've not seen it or heard of it being available in the US. Steve
  6. Malcom in the Middle had an episode with Lego too. Dewey build a huge Lego utopia (where they ate the stupid people), but the mother tripped and fell, knocking it all over. Of course they also mixed in playmobile. Didn't the kids take refuge in a Lego brick, in Honey I Shrunk the Kids? Plus there is the Simpson's Blocko-Land. Steve
  7. That's one big castle. Steve
  8. Ooooh, somebody got the new Temple. It looks a little bare without the stickers. What did you think of it? Steve
  9. Thought I'd play around in a new scale, that is the result. 10. I wonder if the next two categories will be "Present" and "Future" Steve
  11. Shouldn't that be baaaaaaaaa-ewe-tiful... Steve
  12. What you could do is have the cutter cutting down the airstrip next to the outback airstrip set. Steve
  13. Is he just hallucinating that the sheep is that big because he ate one of the 'shrooms? Steve
  14. Not going to be very secret if they're driving around in a truck that is thirty feet tall. Not going to get very far either, if they have to go under a bridge... Steve
  15. If you MOC'd up a little makeshift train depot at the edge of the jungle, it could work. Like a jumping off point for jungle adventures. I think this would work better if you were going for an African Congo jungle, rather than a South American Amazon type. Steve
  16. I'm not sure they had many trains in the jungles. The terrain was just too tough. Though I guess around the outside, it would be ok. The cutter is really green, so putting green vines and shrubs on/around wouldn't be as effective. I think a cutting scene would be good. Steve
  17. You mean eurobricks, don't you? I am a wild west fan and would like to see it come back. I think I've made my preferences for a new line evident in other posts, as seen here, here, here and here. And here are some of my wild west creations: The Brick Tower Brick Tower Vignettes General WW vignettes My abandoned WW town project Steve
  18. I haven't noticed it, but I haven't done much playing with many of the new figures recently. Steve
  19. The architecture/aesthetic design looks like a twelve year old's modification of the real set. The parts look good though. Steve
  20. Wow, its really dark... Steve
  21. My. my. Someone has gone poll happy, with their new rank... Citizens. We've already got the sheriff and bandits. Though why isn't the banker a citizen? I don't know why you made the distinction between normal indians and medicine man. Can't we have both? I'd like any of these, though farmers would be my first choice, as it would have potential to bring us farm animals. Pioneers would be next for the same reason. Miners last. None of these really appeal to me. What kind of non-cowboys ghosts are you getting at? Why couldn't we just have normal hangers-on in the ghost town? We've already got trains up to our knees. A stage coach is needed. Covered wagon too. Steve
  22. I don't know about a whole faction, but I think a couple of old-grizzled-confederate-hanger-ons would be nice figures to include in a set or two. Steve
  23. I think he means the CS as these guys, aka as the South/Johnny Reb/Conferdates/the losers. I think he means the US Soldiers as these guys, aka the North/Yankees/the Union/the winners. Personally, I think it'd be tough to do the south, without having some northern troops to fight. A Gone with the Wind plantation would be a nice set. Steve
  24. I like it. My only complaint is there is a little too much white for my tastes. Steve
  25. Yes. I am a fan of any historical based themes. I also think there was a lot of area that was left uncovered by the short WW theme. I'm not quite sure what this is getting at. I'd like to see them continue the theme, but include areas/ideas like a ghost town, Mexico, pioneers, Indians, trains, gold mines, etc. I'm not really into WW meets space though (steampunk?). I can't really think of a good movie license and the tub idea doesn't do it for me. I like to have Lego designed models. Cows? They are cowboys after all. This would probably fit under Pioneers or town. I think some pioneers with ox pulled wagons would be great. I'm recently getting into ghost towns and I'm a bit of a history guy. I guess its the history. I'm a sucker for any stereotypical/archtypial history theme. The hats were cool, but I don't use them much. There was sagebrush? I do like the bugle, but the other stuff I have tons of. I think my personal favorite is the log bricks. They add such texture and variety to creations. Though I still don't get why they're vertical... Steve
