  1. I'm not much for printed/custom torsos. The Kilroy torso works well though, as does the flannel shirt. Though I think you need some variation in the faces, across all your series. Steve
  2. Another idea for a figure is a preacher. Maybe you could do him up like Clint Eastwood, in Pale Rider. Steve
  3. Much better. Though I still don't know what's supposed to be going on. Perhaps you could summarize the story for us. Its very hard to make a vignette of a not well known story, because you don't have much room to explain it. And if its not well know, people aren't very interested. Steve
  4. But he's asking how much will is coast... I imagine, not very far, since it doesn't have any wheels. I guess since its somewhat round, it might roll a little bit... Steve
  5. It needs some more landscaping or something. Its too sparse and barren right now. Maybe a tree would help? Steve
  6. Salah, for sure. I want a fez. Elsa Short Round Willie Mola Ram Belloq in priest clothes Old Indian Village Guy Grail Knight Monkey Man (this would make a great impulse style set: monkey man, bike and monkey) Sword Guy Toht Himalayian guys Kazim Capt. Katenga (as I really want the boat) Steve (that's my signature, not a suggestion for a character )
  7. I'm not too sure about the cockpit, though I'm not sure I can think of a better solution. Beyond that it looks pretty good. Steve
  8. I wonder if this is the anniversary set? This would be about what I'd have expected for such a set. Steve
  9. I don't like that it includes 3 Lukes and 2 Hans. They should have just included a few stormtroopers and let the kids figure out how to take the heads off to make a disguise... Is R2's head different? It looks like it might be grey? Steve
  10. I think maybe a fedora might work. A cowboy hat. And maybe a JT hat. Steve
  11. Looks very good. That's a lot of minifigs too. I wonder if you can close it up, so it actually looks like the DS. The inclusion of, yet another TIE fighter, seems odd. Steve
  12. I'm surprised at how well buffalo is doing. I'd have thought cows would be the runaway winner. Steve
  13. What about some Mexican banditos? Steve
  14. A cow, since they're cowboys. Plus you could use cows more readily in Castle or Pirate or Town themes. Though I doubt we'll get any new molds, since it looks to be from the factory division, which doesn't make new parts. Steve
  15. Nice. I'm jealous. Egypt is very high on a place I'd like to visit. Steve
  16. I don't think its a full dragon. It looks like just the head, attached to some sort of technic piece. It may be cheaper to just buy the dragon off bricklink. Steve
  17. It looks like the sides of it are cardboard. Steve
  18. Check out the the big trees, big bears and big mountains of Kings Canyon and Sequoia National Parks. Steve
  19. I do think they are one of your weakee minifig. But its not like they're a total mess, they are perfectly acceptable, if unremarkable, figures. I think part of their lack of remarkability, is there isn't much difference between these figures and their official counterparts. I am curious to see what you've got planned for set #7. Steve
  20. Nice work. The A10 has always been one of my favorite planes. Steve
  21. OK, every other old person fess up. When you read the title, you thought of the Kings Castle #6080, didn't you. I sure did. Steve
  22. Not the rich people I see, they're always angry and miserable... Steve
  23. There are a few problems with making a truly epic sea battle. First you need a lot of open space (sea). If I was to convert my average sized dining room table into a sea battle, it could only realistically hold three ships and a couple small rowboats. Second it takes a lot of blue baseplates to make that much ocean. And then the boat hulls often don't sit flat on the plates. Third, there isn't much landscaping you can do to make all that water interesting. Sure you can toss in some rocks, shoals and shallows, but then there is even less room for boats. Land battles are much more practical. Though I'd love to see a truly epic sea battle MOC. It'd make for one heck of a brickfest production. Steve
  24. Why does everyone seem to think that there is some copyright on the word orc? Its used extensively and I find it hard to believe that everyone one of those has some arrangement with Tolkein's estate, Steve
  25. I don't like the white arm and white hand combination. Same with the black on black. The green suit with white hat doesn't do it for me either. I'd also change the color of the hips, so they don't match the legs (dark grey works well for the black legs and I think black would go good on the green). Beyond that, they look good. Steve
