I like that roof. I've got to get me some of those parts. Though with the recent interest in fabuland I bet they're becoming scarce. Steve

Following up my McDonalds Meal MOC, I continued the food theme and made: A hotdog, with all the fixings. A taco. And a more healthy snack: an apple. The whole inedible gallery. Steve

Congratulations! Welcome to the real work. Steve

You need to vary the shirts a bit. They look too much like uniforms and I don't picture miners wearing uniforms. Other than that, they're looking pretty good. Are those torsos from rebel technicians? Steve

Cleaning lady! Cleaning Lady! CLEANING LADY!!!!!!!!!!!! Sorry... when I was seven years old, my father ran off with the cleaning woman. My mother died of a broken heart. Now every timesomeone says cleaning woman, I go berserk. Steve

Interesting idea for a game. Nice MOC too, though I'm not a fan of brick built minifig scale animals. I posted this to adventurers.dk, since it is kind of Adventurer related. Steve

Is There A Way To Contact A Poster On BrickShelf?

No easy direct way to do it through brickshelf. Steve -

Strike one bandit, the gambler, bartender and dancer, and I'd say you're about right. When was the last time you saw six figures in a $20 set. I guess about 1 figure per $10 of price, is a safe bet. Sounds good to me. If this is the biggest set, toss in an exclusive figure, like the dancer, to gin up interest. Steve

Duplo Pitchfork? Regular Pitchfork? Scala Pitchfork? Steve -
What about the open collared Han Solo shirt? Or two pocket white shirt? Assuming you have them, of course. Steve

As a vignette its pretty goof, but I'm afraid I'm lost. Also, where is the police woman? And the leaf? Steve -

I have no interest in the sets. I must have missed the Speed Racer TV show as a kid, so I have no nostalgic attraction to them. A racecar (beyond the fact that the word is a palindrome) has no appeal to me either. As to the sets, they seem to be made up of a lot of curved slope bricks, which I don't really like. And the figures are fleshtones, so they're not much use to me. That being said, I don't think they'll tank as bad as Galidor. At least with these they have, from what other's have said, pretty solid set designs. Plus they have real bricks, unlike Galidor. So they're not total crap and I might have picked some up, if not for the Castle and Indy sets that are coming out. Steve

I don't like Dad's shirt. I don't know why. He'd probably look better with a cowboy hat too. The rest look good. Though a less plain shirt would be good for the daughter. Steve

That new brown looks funny for some reason. I think it must be the lighting, because all the colors look a bit off. I think it needs some more of the dark orange. Those few large pieces really stand out. The architecture is great though. Steve

A poll to decide a star wars set for february 2009
Athos replied to darkrebellion's topic in LEGO Star Wars
Personally, I think the set ideas are all pretty terrible. Arrest of Palpatine: An office scene, sounds pretty silly. The only upshot is the figures (a non-light-up Mace Windu) and the fact that its not yet another remake of sets that have already been over done. Slave One and Cloud City: Hooray, yet another stupid Slave I. What would this be, the 4th one? And nothing says fun like a landing platform. I can't believe they're considering remaking the landing platform. Another sign that its time to put Lego Star Wars to bed. Jango's Slave I at Kamino would have been a better choice. At least we'd have a shot at a Kaminoan. Mon Calmari Crusier: Yay, the third iteration of the less than iconic A-Wing. Probably be a rehash of the B-Wing with Rebel Command. I say that, because I can't see how they could make a decent cruiser and still include the A-wing. Though Akbar might be nice, the set would probably be too expensive to justify buying it just for him. Steve
