  1. Someone is still a bit poll happy... I'd prefer them to be minifig scale in sets similar to system themes. Here you go, the complete WW collection. Steve
  2. Its legal in Sweden. Steve
  3. This is a great MOC. Everything about it works very well, that its so hard to make any meaningful commentary about it. I'm going to cross-post it to adventurers.dk. Why is this in pirates? Its clearly Adventurers or Indy. And its for the Indy contest. Two sets. Both of the big Indy sets have them. The Temple Escape has 2 and the Akator Temple has 8. Steve
  4. I've got a market street set up. And I've got a viking village that is waiting for me to get motivated to do my next JT story. Steve
  5. I wouldn't be surprised if we saw a new hip quiver with the elves. Especially given the weird accessory belt pieces that appear to be in the new clone wars sets. Steve
  6. I think the gold dwarf helmet would make a better crown for the dwarf kind than the regular crown does. Too many of the same crown, otherwise. Lego really needs to make a new crown. I wonder how a batlord hat would look on a troll... Might be a good option for the troll king. Steve
  7. Too much half-timbering for me. I think a stone first floor would look much better. It looks too much like a Dali-esque chessboard right now. Some windows might help with that though. I love the roof, though I'm not quite sure how its done. Yellow is a nice color for the roof. And the inverted slopes that support the eaves are quite nice. Steve
  8. He'd fit if you tossed him in with a tribe of Islanders. Steve
  9. I'm curious who voted for a licensed theme and what they think should be licensed. Steve
  10. I'm not sure exactly what you'd license. HBO's Deadwood? Not likely, way too adult. Lone Ranger? It'd be the rare kid in Lego's target audience that would have any exposure to that. Steve
  11. I agree that Achu is way too Aztec-esque. Plus there isn't much to say about them, since it seems you've just photographed the official indian figures. Personally, I was quite curious to see your method of making indians, without using the official parts, like you did with your other lines. Steve
  12. Is there fortune (a prize) or just glory, associated with this contest? Steve
  13. Looks like a good set. That plane would make a great addition to JT's motorpool. Though I don't know why they did this scene that wasn't in the movie, rather than making it from Temple of Doom... Steve
  14. It would be a great way to satisfy the fans who have been carping for an oil rig for years. Plus, it'd be like Blofeld's lair from Diamonds are Forever. We're already getting his You Only Live Twice lair. Steve
  15. It looks like something Lego would make for an official set. I wonder how it would fare against the Troll Battle Wheel... Steve
  16. The volcano base looks interesting. Good source of different colored (burnt orange, maybe?) BURPS. Steve
  17. I agree with this point, in theory. Though in practice, I'm not sure I'd have the funds to expend on the first wave of castle and then to drop another $300 on a second. So its kind of nice to be able to skip the chess set and save $300. If, however, I was going to spend that additional $300, I'd much rather do it on a bunch of building sets, rather than a chess set. Steve
  18. Thanks. Looks good. Though aren't there a bunch of gaps where the plate doesn't like up right with the slope? Steve
  19. All the technic parts. They are being used way too much as short-cuts to actual brick building. Spears too. I wish they'd dump the extra spears included in every castle set and give us a shield or two. Curved slopes. I've never liked these. They just don't seem like Lego to me and I find them hard to build with. Steve
  20. Looks great. When do we get to see the whole town together? Steve
  21. I'd like to see it in real life, not just in brick-cad. Steve
  22. I think this poll is flawed. Market Street, Green Grocer and Cafe Corner are not in the same vein as the Creator houses. And both of those groups are stylistically different from the Town Plan. Plus you've left out one of the creator houses. Of the market street style buildings, I prefer the Green Grocer. Of the creator houses, I like the town house. Steve
  23. This looks surprisingly good. I'd pick it up, but its just so darned expensive. Steve
  24. Looking good. I think some more hat variety would help. Like a few cowboy hats, if you've got them. Or an Indy or JT hat. Steve
  25. How did you do Mola Ram's hat? Steve
