I have a question for Superkalle or to any one else who knows the answer. Can LDD Manager convert a MLcad/LSynth (linked) track into LDD,I assume that the the part names and coordinates need to be changed or is there more to it than that? If it is at all possible to implement,then I think this would be a really handy feature to have for those people struggling with links of technic treads and chains or help speed up the work of the advanced user.

Nearly spelled it right. You would probably be better motorizing the ballast trailer in time with the final slew speed. For 'big' cranes normally you will need to reinforce a lego turntable or make your own.

You should brace the LA much better than that. Have you ever seen a support to help keep a cab tipped open (crane truck and unimog)? If you turn that around and attach the LA to the middle of the upper beam then you should get a good strong tipping angle.

I have came up with a linkage myself that uses a rubber band which works well,but if any off you do have a solution to my problem then feel free to share.

That would be fun,but we have had group builds in the last few months that fail to make any progress. A contest or relay like that would very much depend on all people who sign up at the start take there turn.

They work fine with version 7.3.17,I suspect it is a compatibility issue with the newest version,if that is the version you are using. I will try that idea later. Well that is what I had wanted but I ran out off room,so now I am looking for alternatives.

I don't think your design is going to work that well,again some sort of linkage is the ideal solution. But thanks anyway.
