    Sheepo is partly right I use SR3D too but Mlcad is easier for making instructions and for chain and other bendable parts. The good thing with SR3D is the auto snap function,a bit like LDD.

    Oops, I thought you were looking for some thing to build from scratch. I could try an teach you MLcad....that would be much better. There is already a good tutorial here.

    Batesy this topic is over two years old,Its always best to try and not bump old topics with out good reason. Since Rishab N has posted two good models (these are by far the best motorized lego wheel loaders available right now).

    Blakbird why did you have to choose to take a picture of the logger from all the rest of the technic sets,I have been after that set ever since I saw it in one of the technic catalogs. Nice photo.

    If you don't mind I would like to make one suggestion,which would be to use Blender. If you enjoy animating you will get a good quality animation using that,plus it is free and you can find lots of tutorials online.

    Welcome to Eurobricks,normally people use small racks with the ball joint link arms.
