Well I share the same opinion,I also take inspiration from all the builders as there is always something new to be learned. I have picked a theme (plant and trucks) with I understand a fair bit about which helps me to build my moc's. I have token advice in the past when I just started building moc's,but now I try to figure things out my self.

Why Can't I View Member Profiles?
Alasdair Ryan replied to Gioppa's topic in Forum Information and Help
Yes that's about it in a nutshell. If you can, try to punctuate and spell your sentences/reply's as good as you can. Also try to post in the right place and try not to bump old topics with a good reason. If your unsure though it's better to check the member guidelines. You don't have to be witty, clever or amusing if you don't want to.But if you do remember there is a 'line' that should not be crossed.- 188 replies

Amazing town. I will admit I don't really like that rail track going over the top of that factory, but apart from that it is a excellent town.

Ok so I made it in 3 minutes..... The brake works by using two small rubber connectors above the two pulley wheels. Turning the top gear brings down the connector slowing down the wheel. I would imagine that if you used a servo motor you could get regulate the brakes power. Feel free to use it in your design, instructions can be made on request.

Make instructions from an LXF file?
Alasdair Ryan replied to SNIPE's topic in Digital LEGO: Tools, Techniques, and Projects
One of the simplest ways of making good quality instructions with LDD is to simply take a photograph at every step, then insert all of those pictures into a Microsoft Powerpoint document (or similar software). You are then able to add arrows, step numbers and backgrounds to your instruction file. -

If you put the buggy motor lengthways it won't take up too much space.
